History
OddMod released MikuMikuMikuMiku on 16 August 2022 and uploaded a showcase of the level to her YouTube channel three days later on 19 August 2022. Another two days later, Nexus uploaded his own showcase of the level on 21 August 2022.

In her video description, OddMod said she verified and uploaded the level three days before the showcase premiered. She also revealed that she started work on the level as far back as 2018, four years earlier, but had recently become interested in Hatsune Miku again and ended up finishing it.

Before concluding the description, OddMod stated that, because the level could cause poor performance, she included the cartoony Miku image only in the first part of the level, along with smaller versions in the backgrounds. This implies that, like Ashley Wave Trials, another level by OddMod, the Miku character would have followed the player throughout the entire level.

OddMod verified the level in 1,448 attempts, stating that she found it to be about the same difficulty as Windy Landscape. Since then, the level has gone on to gain popularity extremely quickly, eventually becoming one of the most-downloaded and liked Insane Demons.
