*Upon the creation of the modern [[Demonlist (Pointercrate)|Demonlist]] on Pointercrate on 4 January 2017, Infernal Abyss was placed at #4, above [[Athanatos]] and below [[Bloodbath]].
**Although Infernal Abyss was considered easier than Bloodbath and [[Sakupen Hell]] after the release of the Demonlist, nowadays, it is widely considered harder than both.
*According to Ggb0y, Infernal Abyss was intended to be a sequel to [[Cataclysm]].
*Infernal Abyss is one of [[Technical|Technical's]] least favourite Extreme Demon levels. He gave it an enjoyment rating of 2/100, only surpassed by 1/100 for The Hell World and 0/100 for EGO KILLING.
*There is a remake of Infernal Abyss called Infernal Void by Rolopok, which Timo verified.
*Around 16 July 2021, Infernal Abyss was updated to add meme photos spread throughout the level. RobTop reverted it; however, it went to a version older than the one before the meme update.
*The updated level description was written in May 2022, with 'Hacked by Anaban.' referencing the events of November 2016, during which Anaban hacked various accounts.
*The pre-extension of Infernal Abyss inspires [[Avernus]] as its extension of the level.
*Previously, hidden text behind the dragon art at the beginning of Infernal Abyss read 'vore'. This text was only visible in the editor, and it has since been removed.
*KugelBlitZ verified Mince's original version on 8 January 2025. It was the intended version of Infernal Abyss before Mince dropped it, and YGYoshI's version was rated instead.
*The placement of Spectrum Rave on 14 September 2021 pushed Infernal Abyss into the Legacy List of the Demonlist.
