The level is heaven-themed and is famous for its boss fights, especially the one toward the end of the level. Many people consider this level one of the best levels for its time. ==Gameplay== Against the God begins with a glow effect that appears on-screen, with text at the bottom reading '1374'. There is also 1374's logo above it. Then the level title appears briefly, and the player is launched into the level. The gameplay is normal, and the theme of this part is heaven-like. A ship part is after this, with some modest gameplay once again. After this is a robot section with a blue theme and a background resembling a tiny city, with a glowing spiral in the sky. Moving on, the player comes into a ball section with a slight mountain theme. After this, the player enters a brief ship section, which leads to a block section. Then, another brief ship section. Next, the gameplay is slow-paced, and a man's silhouette slowly walks in the background. After a few ball and ship sections, the background gets closer to the man's face as the song slows down. Then, there is silence as the first god forms in this transition. The first boss fight starts. The player is on the left as a ship, and the bottom left says 'Player' with one heart below it. The right side shows 'Mandara The Guardian' with two hearts. Mandara is a gold, spiked circle with a few cannons on the end of her and an eye in the middle. She moves around the screen a lot, so the player must avoid her when she does. Eventually, once the player gets past her, they move on to a robot section with another heaven theme. The gameplay is simple but fast-paced, once again. The game-modes switch with each other. The song's style has now completely changed, more like a dark, hellish theme. The level is now very slow-paced, and the player is currently in what appears to be a cave. Eventually, they come across a wave part where a sign says 'Slideable' and arrows are pointing to the glow above and below it. After this wave section, there is more silence. Then, it looks like a dragon is trying to eat some wings floating on a cube. Then, the second boss fight starts. This time, on the right side, there is a dragon named 'Goldwing the Divine Dragon' with three hearts. Goldwing breathes out glowing beams, and she can whack glowing pieces into the player's ship to kill them. She can also stick her face into the player. After the first half of the boss fight, a sign above her reads 'Very Well...'; then the second half begins, which is a more intense part of the battle. There are now more random glow pieces flying every which way and semi-circles popping up and shooting lasers. After the boss fight, the title of the level comes up again, and the level ends. ==User coins== Against the God contains three user coins. *The first coin is collected by defeating Mandara the Guardian. During the first boss fight, the player must hit two green glowing objects, each dealing one hit against Mandara. **The first is collected at 42% by flying down instead of up, which allows the player to enter a passage made from the moving spikes on the bottom. **The second is collected at 45% by flying into it and quickly flying back up to evade the full-screen laser attacks. :Depleting all of Mandara's HP grants the player the first coin as they transition out of the battle. *The second coin is activated with the use of a dash orb at 59%, transitioning into the cave section. Instead of letting go after the moving gears and landing on a platform at 60%, the player must hold into the cave. It will allow them to grab a blue skull at 60.5% before needing to let go of the dash orb. Next, the player must hit three torches in the cube section, located at 60.75%, 61.75%, and 62.75%. The player must hit one more torch in the following ship part, located at 63.25%. If the player hits all the torches, extra blue spikes will be added to the subsequent wave section; successful completion awards the coin at 65.75%. *The third and final coin is collected by defeating Goldwing the Divine Dragon. During the second boss fight, the player must hit three green glowing objects, each dealing one hit against Goldwing. **The first is located at 80%, emerging from the bottom of the screen after Goldwing breathes a laser. To avoid taking a hit themselves, the player must swoop upward as they collect it, thus avoiding Goldwing's lunge attack. **The second is located at 89%. After weaving through a fireball attack, the player must drop slightly to collect the object, then rise to the vertical centre to avoid damage from another fireball attack. **The third is located at 96.25% and appears in the middle of the screen after the final pinwheel attack. :If the player successfully collects all three green objects, Goldwing's health will be fully depleted. The boss cries, 'N O O O...', before giving the player the coin. ==Gameplay== {{VC|tzQinLVS-dY}} ==Trivia== *Against the God was created for [[JonathanGD|JonathanGD's]] first creator contest, in which it placed third.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oJOkU-LQ0U&t=395s</ref> *Against the God was nominated for ''Best Bossfight'' in the [[The Geometry Dash Awards|2.1 Geometry Dash Awards]].
