It was the 19th Event Level. It is hell-themed, emphasising art and animation. The level uses biological horror as the player progresses. ==Description== *1%: Before the gameplay section is a beginning animation that freezes the progress bar at 1% and only appears during the first attempt. It features a broken skeleton, some bunnies, and runes, setting the tone of the red hell theme. *1-7%: Eta Carnis strangely begins at 1% and opens with a mini-cube section, traversing through a forest. The player must jump to avoid solid obstacles. *7-12%: After this, a normal size swing section. It has minimal obstacles, and features a lighthouse in the background. *12-18%: Then comes a simple ball part in which the player must jump on the jump indicators and orbs. *18-26%: A cube section with multiple red spike plants and foliage. The player hits many orbs during this part, and is even affected by magic at one point, levitating in the air before falling back down. There is a transition afterwards where the camera enters the castle in the background. *26-32%: After the castle is entered, the player must navigate the fallen bricks and statues of it. There are some flashes of hands holding the pads up; this is the first instance of body horror in the level. *32-38%: There is a swing part where the player flies up a staircase, while many blue hands chase them. At the end of the staircase, one hand grabs the swing, squishing it into blood. The other hands retract, and the blood trickles down. *38-50%: The blood pools into a lake, and the player emerges as a cube. There are various spiky objects that the player must avoid, such as pillars, statues, and swords. There is a large pentagram-esque shape in the sky. Halfway through the part, the player becomes a ship, and the camera slowly descends, showing more runes. *50-67%: An intermission animation showing multiple bunnies, hands, eyes, and towers. This part is completely auto. *67-71%: The player falls into view as a ball, and the camera brightens to reveal they are inside a capillary of some kind. This marks where body horror dominates the decoration. They must avoid metal nails. Hands tear open the capillary twice, first revealing eyes and next transitioning into the next part. *71-75%: A robot section that has two orbs. There is a beating heart in the background that opens to reveal more eyes inside. *75-80%: Then, a cube part where the player touches many swinging pads and orbs. The decoration gets more neon as the part progresses. *80-93%: An ending animation that features angels, hands, and jellyfish. This section has nine segments that all happen for equal lengths of time, and have their own animations and decoration. Runes get more intense as the level ends. The level ends early at 93% instead of 100%. ==Gameplay== 8-AKBBBwCKg ==Trivia== *Eta Carnis uses two songs and seven sound effects (SFXs). *Eta Carnis was the first Harder Mythic level. **By extension, it is also the easiest Mythic level to be the Event Level. *Eta Carnis is the seventh most popular Mythic level by both downloads and likes. *Eta Carnis was the fourth mega-collaboration Event Level, after BUTTON MASHER, Heave Ho, and GD GANGSTER RAP. **With a total of 20 contributors, Eta Carnis is the largest mega-collaboration Event Level. *Eta Carnis was nominated for Best Intermediate Classic in the The Geometry Dash Awards 2025. It went on to place fifth. **Its predecessor, FUNHOUSE, placed fourth, and its successor, Stronghold, placed sixth. *When the player reaches 168 attempts, instead of restarting, the level shows a closed eye. Clicking only opens the eye a bit. **The only way to continue playing when this happens is to exit and replay manually.
