It is the 13th Event Level. ==Description== Heave Ho begins with a somewhat click-heavy cube segment. The theme is that of a pirate ship's interior, which changes to a night outdoors theme after the player hits a dash orb as more cube gameplay ensues. The gameplay soon speeds up to double speed while still as a cube, followed by a ship segment that requires memorization due to the number of fakes. Eventually, the player becomes a cube as an auto part takes them to the next segment, which features the cube again, this time in mini form. A transition takes the player in a boat to another mini cube segment before a cutscene plays of a cannon on a ship firing a cannonball directed at another ship. Then the drop begins, labelled 'Chapter 1: Letters of Marque'. The gameplay here features the cube as the player hits orbs as they pass from one ship to the next, followed by a brief mini-cube segment with a map theme, then returns to the previous theme, this time featuring constant game-mode switching between the ball and cube. The next part, labelled 'Chapter 2: Davy Jones' Locker', starts with the UFO. The word 'hold' is shown above the screen during the transition from the previous part to this part to signal the player to hold. The theme changes to underwater with a kraken-like sea creature in the background. The gameplay consists of rapid clicking and hitting dash orbs as a UFO, followed by a cube with more rapid clicking, then a brief UFO segment requiring fast clicks before a cube requiring only a few inputs. After this, a segment featuring the ball requires the player to hit some black orbs in sync with the music before hitting a yellow orb with a spider portal, turning them into a spider, as a brief segment in that game-mode ensues. A yellow orb followed by a red orb takes the player to a cube portal as they hit two blue orbs, after which the words 'Shiver Me Timbers' appear in sync with the song. Afterwards, the theme returns to the surface, with a red, stormy sky and a ship sailing in the background. Gameplay-wise, the player becomes a robot, then a UFO, then this same game-mode change pattern again, during which the gameplay and inputs sync with the music. The player then enters a click-heavy segment that involves transitioning between the cube and the spider before the final part, labelled 'Chapter 3: Dead Men Tell No Tales'. The final part features a ship in the background, just like the previous part, although it appears closer. In terms of gameplay, this part begins with blue orb inputs as a mini cube before a pink orb as a regular size cube that takes them to a very brief robot segment where the gameplay slows down, then becomes fast again as the player becomes a mini ball then slows down again as a cube, then speeds up once again to a ship segment requiring the player to hit green orbs to avoid the obstacles, followed by a UFO segment featuring three pink orbs and a yellow orb that takes them to a brief wave, a UFO with only a single input on a red orb, then another brief wave. From here, the gameplay ends as the ship in the background is split in half by tentacles, followed by the level's title appearing on-screen to accompany the music. Following this are the end credits, which feature a rainy scenery and a black flag adorned with Boom Kitty's logo and a pair of crossed swords. The screen eventually turns black as a pair of small swords appear and form an X, ending the level. ==Gameplay== 9lbONiMe-3s ==Trivia== *Heave Ho uses one song and seven sound effects (SFXs). *Heave Ho was the first Event Level that was not part of the NoCopyrightSounds x Geometry Dash album. **By extension, Heave Ho was the first Event Level that was not accompanied by a Secret Room code. **However, it was still created for the release of its song. *When Heave Ho first released, Boom Kitty, one of the song's composers, had a habit of commenting 'SHIVER ME TIMBERS' on any post related to the level. *Heave Ho was nominated for Best Advanced Classic in The Geometry Dash Awards 2025. It went on to place fifth, ahead of TOUCH THE ORBS BUB and behind 0 exit.
