The level was the winning Stereo Madness remake entry for Waboo's $1,000 Stereo Madness competition. It also includes many gimmicks, such as killing the player intentionally. ==Description== *0-3%: Rage Quit begins by killing the player on the first input of Stereo Madness intentionally on the first and second attempts by not letting the player make an input. After the player dies for the second time, a person punches the screen, revealing a tablet and a mug of coffee. After this, the player can now play the level normally, and the person leaves the room with the mug of coffee. *3-16%: The gameplay is just normal Stereo Madness until 8%, where the player appears to go out of the tablet. However, there is still gameplay that seems to be outside the tablet. The tablet then switches to the level Dash, and the player returns to it to play the level. *16-31%: The level then quickly switches back to Stereo Madness, then the level appears to start showing binary code, then the level appears to turn into a digital style. An eye appears, and the level displays a fake error message: 'Something went wrong...'. The player is then changed into a ship, crashing out of the tablet and into a second one to begin the next section. *31-59%: As the ship, the player goes into a lot of the different environments, then at 43%, the level goes back into a digital style, with nine screens behind the player imitating the gameplay. After this, it is just normal Stereo Madness gameplay, continuing as a cube, until someone enters a room with the nine screens and starts destroying them. *59-85%: As the person destroys the screens, the player should look at the top-middle screen, as that is the last screen that the person destroys. After the person destroys the remaining screens, they shake the top-middle screen, transitioning the player to the final section. *85-100%: In the final section, the player is getting chased by a hand in Stereo Madness's final ship section while going through different environments. Then the player crashes into a fake end wall, which then shows a person punching a tablet, and then the level ends. ==Gameplay== -XOrGL8FREw ==Trivia== *Rage Quit uses four songs and 45 sound effects (SFXs). *At the end of Rage Quit, the player actually does die, but the level shows the end screen and ends the level instead of fully restarting. The player will get a new best of 98% at the end. *Rage Quit's working title was 'Matrix Madness'. *Rage Quit was nominated for Best Beginner Classic in The Geometry Dash Awards 2024. It went on to secure a landslide victory with 65.2% of the votes. *Rage Quit is the second-most popular Mythic level by both downloads and likes, behind Skeletal Shenanigans. *Rage Quit was the sixth level to receive a Mythic rating. It also holds two other rating distinctions: **The second classic level to receive a Mythic rating, after Astralith. **The first level lower than Demon difficulty to receive a Mythic rating. *Rage Quit has spawned many remakes, namely Dead Device and Crash Out. ==References== <references/>
