History
Early career (2020 - 2024)
uvlight58's first uploaded videos were around 2020, featuring classic Extreme Demon completions and progress videos, including runs on Hard Machine, as well as completions of Bloodbath and Sunset Sandstorm.

On 22 October 2022, uvlight58 beat Shardscapes as a new hardest after around 63,000 attempts and 487 drop attempts. This remains the hardest classic completion on record.

After this, uvlight58 began uploading Celeste completions, until uploading the first Geometry Dash platformer level completion of I wanna be the guy on 22 December 2023, just two days after the level was released.

Just two days later, uvlight58 completed Tower of Infinity as a new hardest while it was still unrated, taking six hours to beat. Two days later, on 26 December 2023, uvlight58 completed the hardest rated platformer at the time, The Tower XXII, after 8,026 attempts.

On 1 March 2024, uvlight58 uploaded a platformer clear dump containing the levels Terminal Heaven, The Abyss, and 22 Trials of PAIN. The same video also showcased a completion of every rated platformer level at the time, with a moon count of 3,801.

On 23 April 2024, uvlight58 became the first victor of Tower of Infinity Deathless, marking a new hardest platformer completion. This completion was the first to bring wider attention within the platformer community. Shortly afterwards, uvlight58 uploaded another platformer clear dump, which included HYPER GRAVITRON, a former Top 1, Free Solo, the Top 1 rated platformer at the time, apricot tower, the Top 3 on The Platformer List (TPL) at the time, which only took 5,361 attempts, and YiiK A PostAlbertRPG, the Top 7 at the time.

On 1 June 2024, uvlight58 beat the former Top 1 Null, becoming its fifth victor with a time of 3:01:50.521.

uvlight58 began playing CONVOLUTION around mid-July 2024 and verified it on 12 August 2024, after around 33,000 attempts and 17 deaths in the last section, making it the new hardest platformer at the time. After this completion, uvlight58 also joined The Platformer List Discord server for the first time to announce the verification. The verification received coverage from community news sources, including Geometry Dash Today, which reported on the level's placement at #1 on The Platformer List.

After this, uvlight58 started beating more levels in the Top 10, such as the Top 2 Its MF Kaiji Sunday on 14 September 2024 and the Top 3 Cl5u37r0ph0b1a on 29 September 2024. With the latter completion, uvlight58 had completed the entire Top 4 at the time.

Around late November 2024, uvlight58 began verifying delightful climb while keeping the level's identity secret.

In December 2024, uvlight58 beat The Abyss Deathless, placing at the top spot on the Platformer Rank. One hour after this completion, AyumiRenko completed Null Deathless, which was placed at #2 behind The Abyss Deathless. The near-simultaneous completions received coverage from Geometry Dash Today. By the end of the month, uvlight58 stood at the #2 spot on the Platformer Rank, behind AyumiRenko.

In February 2025, uvlight58 verified delightful climb, making it the new hardest platformer level. The verification came just one day after being nominated for Best Platformer Player at The Geometry Dash Awards 2024.

In March 2025, uvlight58 beat Null Deathless, considered harder than CONVOLUTION, and later verified the former impossible platformer Ruined. The level placed at #2 on The Platformer List one month later, above CONVOLUTION and below delightful climb, meaning uvlight58 had verified the entire Top 3. Following this, uvlight58 dethroned AyumiRenko as the #1 player on the Platformer Rank.

After the completion of Ruined, uvlight58 dethroned AyumiRenko as the #1 player on the Platformer Rank.
