Explorers is a 2.2 Easy level by RobTop. It was the Daily Level created specifically for April Fools' Day 2025.
History
[edit | edit source]Explorers is based on the unreleased 2.2 RobTop level with the same name. This interpretation of the level was created by RobTop as an April Fools' joke and was set as the Daily Level on 1 April 2025.
Description
[edit | edit source]Explorers begins with the original Explorers level that was seen in the 'Geometry Dash Update 2.2 Sneak Peek 2' video, with nothing strange in sight. However, when the player gets to the teleportation orb, the famous second spider part from Dash appears out of nowhere, the 'Dash Spider Jumpscare', a community meme. The player must repeat and pass this spider part three times. After that, it teleports the player to an empty level where the player must jump over a spike that increases to two spikes and so on, with each jump up to seven, though the last four sets of spikes do not kill the player. The player is then locked in a cage with a torch, and an inscription reading 'Why did I make this' appears, with a voice saying 'Mission Failed!' The level ends with the 'Fire in the hole' sound effect.
