Update 1.9 was the ninth major update to Geometry Dash released on 9 November 2014 for Android and iOS, and on 23 December 2014 serving as the initial release of the Steam version.

Description

Update 1.9 introduced seventeenth and eighteenth levels, Blast Processing and Theory of Everything 2, the former introducing the wave form, and the latter the second main Demon level. The Icon Kit received 11 icons (13 on Steam) and 4 new colours. The update also included a great variety of level level editor additions and improvements, including new objects that when used in conjunction with blocks could convey a 3D aesthetic. A new user account system was implemented, and music from Newgrounds was able to downloaded for use in user levels. Additionally, level difficulties were changed as follows:
