WANNACRY is a 2.2 Medium Demon level by kira9999. It is the fifth and final level of the NCS II Gauntlet. WANNACRY placed fourth in the NCS Gauntlet Contest, placing above I See Stars and below MAGISTRO.
Description
[edit | edit source]- 0-11%: WANNACRY begins with a 3D cube section, with the player moving away from the camera rather than towards the right. Multiple yellow pads, along with red and yellow orbs, are present throughout the section.
- 11-21%: The player enters a UFO section and switches direction, now moving towards the camera. Along with spikes, chains of floating red text saying 'ERROR' are present and can destroy the player upon touch. At 16%, the player reverses direction again, going through a shortened version of the UFO part.
- 21-25%: The 3D section ends, and the player is put into a robot section. There are a couple of tight jumps and orbs throughout the robot part.
- 25-37%: The player becomes a mini-cube, and the stairs in the background of the previous part turn into the main gameplay. This section is slightly easier than the preceding robot section, as there is more open space. Towards the end of the section is an unclickable red orb, which will cause the player to fall into the void, causing a short transition into the next section.
- 37-47%: After the transition, the player is put into a big swing section. They must navigate through moderately sized tunnels lined with monitors and screens. At the end of each tunnel is a giant monitor that will reverse the player's direction.
- 47-56%: The player is put into a mini-ball section, which contains a couple of orbs and interesting structures made only out of blocks. In the background is the face of a hacker placed behind glass. Throughout the section, the glass slowly starts to crack.
- 56-62%: A brief transition plays, where the hacker breaks out of the glass, before breaking a computer by hitting it with an axe multiple times. After this, the level's title flashes, leading to the next section.
- 62-67%: The player is put into a triple-speed cube part, which quickly transitions into a very short spider part, requiring at least four clicks. They are then put into a robot part with moderately tight jumps.
- 67-72%: The player changes into a cube at double speed, and has to hit two blocks above not to crash. These two blocks also cause the two skeletons below to be dumped into flames. After this, the player is sped up to triple speed again, and must hit two dash orbs pointed upwards. The player is then placed in a short ball part with two clicks and a custom orb, which must be clicked to prevent death. The section ends with a cube part that contains a couple of orbs and jumps.
- 72-75%: The player is put into a wave section, which is nearly impossible to read due to the intense flashing lights in the background that blend in with the saws that the wave is supposed to avoid.
- 75-77%: The player turns into a mini-UFO, and the screen mirrors. Throughout this brief section, multiple ramps and slopes form small tunnels, with the player having to click at least twice the moment they exit said tunnels (though the last part only requires one click).
- 77-80%: The player becomes a big robot, and the screen direction goes back to normal. This section contains a couple of somewhat manageable jumps along with spider orbs and pink orbs. Spider pads are also present at the bottom, teleporting the player straight into spikes.
- 80-82%: The player is put into a brief transition section where they become a mini-cube. The player has to jump over three spikes in this section before it ends.
- 82-87%: The player remains a mini-cube and is put into a section that uses orbs and green gravity portals. After this, there is a short mini-ship section using teleport orbs, before switching back to a mini-cube with similar gameplay to the first mini-cube part of this section. Throughout the section, a giant monster starts to chase the player.
- 87-93%: The player is put into a ship section, where they must avoid fading spikes while trying to evade the monster. Midway through the section, the player turns into a big wave, though the obstacles remain the same. Eventually, the monster catches up to the player.
- 93-100%: The level ends with the player jumping into a trash can. This section is auto.
