CDMusic accepted the offer, and the project commenced on 27 November 2020 and progressed healthily over the next six months.
 
On 7 February 2021, Zimnyte released Edge of Destiny's first preview, showcasing seven merged parts, one of which was soon replaced. However, in April 2021, due to internal drama that CDMusic and Zimnyte would not disclose, the level was taken away from APTeam and returned to CDMusic's hands as a hosting endeavour. polterghast also achieved a run of 26-82% on an old version of the layout on 24 April 2021.
