HOW is a 2.1 Normal level by Spu7Nix, published on 13 August 2020. This level utilizes highly innovative 3D effects and animations.

Description

[edit | edit source]

N.B.: Every object used in gameplay before the last auto section is three-dimensional and custom-made.

HOW begins with an easy two-jump cube section in which the player circles a red/black/yellow patterned 3D cylindrical pillar. At the end of this section, the word 'HOW' appears in red 3D text, with an effect that creates the illusion of the text exploding shortly after.

Next, there is a wave section containing easy spam and light timings. There are grey block structures and another 3D cylindrical pillar in the background, with varying hues of blue and a stretched texture. This section ends with black bars that vertically close over the screen.

Next, the next 3D pillar zooms in towards the camera. The following UFO section goes from left to right, circling the pillar. The player is initially in normal gravity, but a second UFO icon loops around the pillar on the other side in reverse gravity during the second half of this section.

The level ends with an auto section featuring 2D, multicoloured, animated cylindrical pillars that fade into a scene of our planet and moon. Then, the music ends, and the Earth fades to an outline; it splits in two, revealing Spu7Nix's logo. The end screen is plain black.
