Problematic is a 1.9/2.0 Easy Demon level by Dhafin. The level is a remake of Nine Circles. It is one of the easiest Demon-rated Nine Circles levels and one of the most famous levels due to its unique design and challenging difficulty. The gameplay makes heavy use of size, speed, and gravity changes.

Gameplay
Description
*0-12%: The level starts with a cube section which is mildly difficult since many spikes can easily be jumped over.
*0-12%: Problematic begins with a simple yet tricky cube sequence, which consists of many spikes that can easily be jumped over.
*12-24%: Next, the player enters a ship sequence that is easier than the cube section since there aren't as many threats. However, it is half speed, slower than the cube, so the player must therefore be a little bit careful. The next cube area is far easier than the first one because the last few seconds are auto.
*12-24%: Next, the player enters a brief ship sequence considered easier than the previous section, not featuring nearly as many threats. The next cube sequence is semi-auto and far easier than the first, with the last few seconds being auto, serving as a prelude to the level's most distinctive feature: the wave.
*24-85%: Afterward, the Nine Circles wave segment is introduced, and the beat drops. The player must now avoid the walls and the numerous saw-blades. However, this level has a much easier wave segment than most of the other Nine Circles levels, so the player should not worry as much, as the spacing is much larger, and there are many segments where the wave is not triple-speed. The penultimate sequence is a ship sequence, which lasts for roughly three seconds with the word "NICE!" flashing in the background.
*24-85%: The Nine Circles wave sequence is introduced, and the beat drops. The player must now avoid the walls and the numerous sawblades. Unlike other Nine Circles levels, it features larger spacing, and many segments are not at triple speed. The penultimate sequence is a ship sequence that involves flying straight ahead for roughly three seconds, with the word 'NICE!' flashing in the background.
*85-100%: Then, the player enters one final cube section, which can easily be completed without any distractions since there are not many obstacles. Then, the level ends with Dhafin's name.
*85-100%: Finally, the player enters one final cube sequence, which can easily be completed without any distractions since there are not many obstacles. The level ends with Dhafin's name. At the end of the level, the creator's name, Dhafin, is written in blocks, along with the text '10*', indicating Dhafin's request to have Problematic be rated 10-stars by RobTop.

User coins
User coins
The level has three user coins.
Problematic contains three user coins.
*The first coin is obtained when the player gets a key. This key brings down the first coin and removes the spike previously over it.
*The first coin is located at 11% in the first cube sequence. It requires hitting a yellow orb marked with an X to land on an invisible platform and collect a key, which removes the spike on a column ahead, and the coin is free to collect by not jumping.
*The second coin is obtained very early in the wave segment. The player has to fit in between a saw-blade at double-speed to successfully collect the coin.
*The second coin is located at 30%, early into the wave sequence. It requires going downwards as a mini-wave in anti-gravity and fitting through a small passage between a sawblade at double speed to collect it.
*The last coin is at the end of Dhafin's name, where instead of falling onto the jump pad, jumping over the jump pad will cause the third coin to appear to collect.
*The third and final coin is located at 97% in the final cube sequence. It requires jumping over the creator's name, written in blocks, to land a little further from the yellow pad. The coin is near a spike.

*It is possible to skip several portals during the wave, including the second ship sequence.

*In the wave sequence, it is possible to miss the double speed change with the upside-down gravity portal. This makes you stay at triple speed, but it is still possible to beat the level like this.

Fails
*M31 crashed at 97%, at the last spike, trying to get the last coin. He later beat the level without the coin.
*GuitarHeroStyles crashed at 96% because of a bug.
*EricVanWilderman crashed at 85% at the beginning of the final cube sequence, attempting to make a jump that he thought was possible.
*Complazra crashed at 97% for the same reason as M31. He has now completed the level with all three coins.

Description

[edit | edit source]
 • 0-12%: Problematic begins with a simple yet tricky cube sequence, which consists of many spikes that can easily be jumped over.
 • 12-24%: Next, the player enters a brief ship sequence considered easier than the previous section, not featuring nearly as many threats. The next cube sequence is semi-auto and far easier than the first, with the last few seconds being auto, serving as a prelude to the level's most distinctive feature: the wave.
 • 24-85%: The Nine Circles wave sequence is introduced, and the beat drops.
 • 85-100%: Finally, the player enters one final cube sequence, which can easily be completed without any distractions since there are not many obstacles. The level ends with Dhafin's name. At the end of the level, the creator's name, Dhafin, is written in blocks, along with the text '10*', indicating Dhafin's request to have Problematic be rated 10-stars by RobTop.
