'''Darnoc''' (formally called '''Darnoc703''' in Youtube and '''TheRealDarnoc''' in Geometry Dash) is one of the first players and level creators in Geometry Dash. He has one of the most famous level styles, which results in a lot of people trying to copy his style. In fact, many of his levels, especially his earlier ones, star in RobTop's Map Packs.

'''Conrad Hellman''', better known as '''Darnoc''' ('''TheRealDarnoc''' in-game), is a former American player and one of the first creators in [[Geometry Dash]], who created the first-rated level. He had one of the most famous level styles, which led many people to try to copy it. Many of his levels, especially his early ones, appear in [[Map Packs]].

Darnoc had two other accounts; one was 'darnoc2', an unregistered account on his school iPad, where he also made many levels. Unfortunately, Darnoc lost that account when everyone at his school had to delete non-school-related games. He also had an unregistered [[wikipedia:Bluestacks|Bluestacks]] account, 'DarnocBlue'.

==History==
Darnoc started playing Geometry Dash in 2013, during version 1.0.

He quit the game in October 2015 after creating the level 'Okiba Crackdown 3'. He was also inactive on his YouTube account.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/@ConradHellman</ref> On 15 October 2016, he became active by posting a video of playing a VR game. In the description, he said, 'Sorry for no Geometry Dash videos kids.'

Out of nowhere, he returned to Geometry Dash on 1 February 2017, with the level Blacklights, a detailed [[Update 2.1|2.1]] level that also received an Epic rating. Even RobTop was shocked, as he said in the comment section of Blacklights, 'He is alive?... :o'. Many other creators were shocked by his comeback, such as [[Partition]], [[Serponge]], [[Viprin]], etc. He also made a level called Bonus Level, but he got bored with it and has not uploaded a level since. He uploaded his last Geometry Dash video on 9 February 2017.

His real name is Conrad, because Darnoc is Conrad backwards. Some people also call him "Doorknob". In his level ''DarnocDynamix'', Darnoc said he is colorblind.
When asked by player Krisz whether or not he would return to Geometry Dash, Darnoc stated that he would likely not, although he wants to play the new [[Update 2.2|2.2]] level if the update is released.<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiD4n9swz3A</ref>

Darnoc also has many other accounts include ''Darnoc2'' : an unregistered account on his school ipad where he also made many levels. But unfourtunately, Darnoc lost that account when everyone at his school was to delete games unrelated to school. He also has a Bluestacks account named ''DarnocBlue'' and other accounts
Darnoc continues to upload videos of various rhythm games on his YouTube channel, such as ''Spin Rhythm XD'' and [[Wikipedia:Synth Riders|''Synth Riders'']]. However, he has not uploaded any new videos for nine months.

Darnoc also created the first starred level.
At the beginning of 2024, Darnoc temporarily returned to Geometry Dash and made a few posts on his account, sharing his thoughts on Update 2.2.

== History ==
==Achievements==
He also started playing GD in 1.0. Almost every one of his levels are filled with bugs.
Darnoc inspired RobTop to create the UFO game-mode with the test level 'gravity field'. The gameplay is a field of yellow orbs with obstacles in the form of cube blocks. The gravity and obstacles also change in the middle of the level. They revert to normal at the end.

He has since quit GD since Oct 2015, but not before making the famous level "Okiba Crackdown". He is inactive at his YouTube account as he doesn't post anything anymore but still watches videos as seen on his YouTube channel. Although on October 15th, 2016, he became active by posting a video of him playing a VR game. In the description, he says, "Sorry for no Geometry Dash videos kids".
Another of Darnoc's achievements was creating the level 'Wave Wave', inspired by an arcade game of the same name. This level also inspired [[Robert Topala|RobTop]] to create the wave game-mode. This level uses a UFO with many blue orbs as gravity switches.

<nowiki>But then, out of nowhere, he made a comeback to GD on February 1st, 2017 with the level ''Blacklights'', a beautiful 2.1 level which also got an epic feature, which is trending on the GD community. Even RobTop is shocked, as he said in the comment section of Blacklights, " He is alive?... :o." Many other creators are shocked with his comeback, such as Partition, Serponge, ViPriN, etc. He also made a level named Bonus Level which is named after the song Bonus Level, but he got bored of that level.</nowiki>

History

[edit | edit source]

Darnoc started playing Geometry Dash in 2013, during version 1.0.

He quit the game in October 2015 after creating the level 'Okiba Crackdown 3'. He was also inactive on his YouTube account.[1] On 15 October 2016, he became active by posting a video of playing a VR game. In the description, he said, 'Sorry for no Geometry Dash videos kids.'

Out of nowhere, he returned to Geometry Dash on 1 February 2017, with the level Blacklights, a detailed 2.1 level that also received an Epic rating. Even RobTop was shocked, as he said in the comment section of Blacklights, 'He is alive?... :o'. Many other creators were shocked by his comeback, such as Partition, Serponge, Viprin, etc. He also made a level called Bonus Level, but he got bored with it and has not uploaded a level since. He uploaded his last Geometry Dash video on 9 February 2017.

When asked by player Krisz whether or not he would return to Geometry Dash, Darnoc stated that he would likely not, although he wants to play the new 2.2 level if the update is released.[2]

Darnoc continues to upload videos of various rhythm games on his YouTube channel, such as Spin Rhythm XD and Synth Riders. However, he has not uploaded any new videos for nine months.

At the beginning of 2024, Darnoc temporarily returned to Geometry Dash and made a few posts on his account, sharing his thoughts on Update 2.2.
