IO is a 2.2 Insane level by 7ak, published on 14 December 2025. It is the first level of the Chance Gauntlet.
IO is a classic level by 7ak that was created for the Random Gauntlet Contest. It was placed in the Top 10 of the contest and is the first level in the Chance Gauntlet. It is primarily a design-based level, with repetetive gameplay to match the repetetive song.

Many have critisized the level for having bad, buggy, or unsightreadable gameplay. 7ak has not followed up on this.

Description

[edit | edit source]

IO is primarily a design-based level, with repetitive gameplay to match the repetitive song.

 • 0-14%: A mini-ship part that has randomly placed blocks. The blocks have an 'I' or an 'O' on them. The player cannot touch the floor or the ceiling.
 • 14-24%: A cube part that has four short gameplay segments, all picked from a list of predetermined parts, with randomly generated orbs in each part.
 • 24-28%: A small ship part in which the player must go where the arrows tell them.
 • 28-42%: A ship part that contains randomly generated walls of sawblades and gravity portals separated by randomly selected wave parts.
 • 42-53%: A ball part where the player must quickly look at signs in the background to determine if they should hit the blue orbs to flip to the other side, or not.
 • 53-56%: A short low gravity swing straight-fly part. It is not randomly generated.
 • 56-67%: A UFO part in which the player goes through doors. All but one of the random doors is shut, leaving only one correct path. Arrows indicate this path.
 • 67-71%: A short ship section. It is not randomly generated.
 • 71-85%: A vertical spider part where doors randomly shut, and the player must navigate through, reacting quickly to the path they must take.
 • 85-100%: A wave part in which the location, direction, and gravity of the wave are randomized. The player must follow the path indicated by circles. It happens three times. The camera is rotated 45 degrees.
