EATEOT, short for Everywhere at the End of Time, is an unrated 2.2 Extreme Demon level by DarkFeind, verified by Striker820 on 2 January 2026.[1] The level is based on and uses the six-and-a-half-hour, six-album ambient music project of the same name by James Leyland Kirby under the alias the Caretaker that portrays the progression of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Trivia

  • A quote from the Caretaker, the artist who produced the soundtrack used for EATEOT, is displayed at the end of the level: 'Thanks for the support through the years. May the ballroom remain eternal. C'est fini.' (French for 'it is finished'.)
  • Most of EATEOT's gameplay consists of the same structures and jumps copied and pasted for long periods of time.
  • EATEOT only took seven months to finish, even though stage 1 took four months.
    • The last two stages took only a single day to make.
