Brave Blue is a 2.2 Hard level by Glubfuberz, published on 30 May 2026. It is the 23rd Event Level. The level is vibrant and undersea-themed, which aligns with the song's usage. The gameplay is more relaxed, with custom animations, such as a leviathan-like creature emerging from the water.

    Description

    • 0-23%: Brave Blue begins 'underwater' with lower gravity and cube gameplay. Next, a ship section begins still underwater, where the player must fly past red spikes and older stone buildings on the ground. In the background, there are statues of mythical creatures. At 20%, the player enters a mini portal, then ascends up a slanted surface and out of the water.
    • 23-45.25%: The player resurfaces as a robot, encountering lots of orbs and spikes on a pink, sandy surface. At 35.5%, there is a ball section, still on land, in which the player must keep avoiding spikes and hitting orbs.
    • 45.25-57%: After the very short ball section is a double-speed ship section where the player avoids large spikes, and silhouettes of dragons fly in the background. Then, a very short mini-cube section follows, transitioning the player into a cave.
    • 57-68.75%: In the cave section, the player begins as a ship and must avoiding spikes, passing a dragon statue with glowing red eyes in the background in the background is a dragon statue with glowing red eyes. The player emerges from the cave into a robot section with origami-styled dragons in the background, and must perform a series of jumps across several floating platforms that crumble once the player jumps from them. On the final platform is a jump pad, leading to an animated transition of the player's robot diving into the seas.
    • 68.75-90.25%: When the player resurfaces at 70%, an above-water ship section begins where they must avoid spikes, floating structures, and dragons silhouettes that dive out of the water. After spending half the level under the effects of a size portal, the player also reverts to their normal size. A short cube section with three orbs serves as a buffer before a second above-water ship section, with one dragon silhouette diving toward the camera. Finally, the player becomes a robot at 84.75%, prompting jumps from three more platforms and two more orbs.
    • 90.25-100%: The robot hits and holds a dash orb. As the screen pinches, the robot morphs into a beam of light, shooting into the sky from an island. Alongside several floating chunks of land, the level's wordmark slides in from the bottom-left, while Glubfuberz's name (written in runes; see below) and a dragon logo slide in from the top-right. The level ends as a list of playtesters' names scroll by at the bottom of the screen.

    Trivia

    • Brave Blue uses three songs and two sound effects (SFXs).
    • Brave Blue was the second impromptu Event Level, after Skeletal Shenanigans.
    • Brave Blue was the second 4-star Event Level, after Back On Dash.
      • With Back On Dash serving as the first Event Level, the time difference between its release and Brave Blue's is 18 months.
      • Brave Blue's tenure as an Event Level makes Glubfuberz the only creator to have at least one Daily Level, Weekly Demon, and Event Level.
    • Brave Blue and its successor both have alliterative names beginning with B.

    Runic messages

Several strings of symbols appear as decorations in Brave Blue. Some of them use Font 57 (Game of Squids) and have no meaning, while others are rune-like and only use straight lines. Using a key found within the editor, messages using the latter can be decoded using the legend shown here. Below is a list of runic messages found in Brave Blue (unless otherwise indicated, the symbols appear in mid-air, detached from other decorations):

    • 1%: 'ATTEMPT #'
      • The octothorpe is replaced with a counter denoting the current attempt.
    • 9-11%: 'HE WILL PROTECT US'
    • 20-22%: 'THROUGH IT ALL WE WILL RISE UP'
    • 32-35%: 'RISE TO THE SKIES AND BEYOND'
    • 43-45%: 'FOLLOW US AND UNEARTH OUR REALM'
    • 57-62%: Does not contain a single distinct message, but the letters of the word 'ROYALTY' can be seen illuminated numerous times, scattered across multiple walls. Additionally, above the robot portal at the end of the ship sequence, the word 'GLUB' can be spotted on the ceiling; this is the short form of Glubfuberz's name.
    • 64%: 'RULE' and 'THC SKY' are inscribed on a pair of platforms.
      • It is believed that the 'C' is a typo, and that the full message should read 'RULE THE SKY'.
    • 67%: 'SOAR HIGH' is inscribed on the last platform before transitioning into the final section.
    • 99% (End screen): 'GLUBFUBERZ'

Black text reading 'SWAG' can be revealed in two places by activating hidden toggle triggers:

    • The first is at 30.25%; it is triggered by skipping the platform directly below.
    • The second is at 53.75%; it is triggered by making a jump at the top edge of a long platform (53.5%) down to the next platform, skipping a jump marked with a visual indicator.
