Level sequence

1 is a 1.1 Hard 5* level by Cody, published on 27 September 2013. It is the second level in the Hard Pack. Despite standing at over 10 million downloads and nearly half a million likes, it is a highly-disliked level with numerous negative comments on both its gameplay and design.

Description

The entire level is played as a cube and the level begins with a section that features many two-spike jumps in a row. Some gameplay similar to that of Polargeist follows. At the drop, the player goes upside-down and the gameplay involves jumping on platforms, similar to Dry Out. After the player switches gravity again, some easier gameplay follows.

As the player goes upside-down again, they go over some spikes via yellow pads before more actual gameplay occurs. Near the ending of the part, many blocks are sprawled above the player and platforms, as to create a 'roof' and force players to use some timing for jumps. After easier normal-gravity gameplay, the level ends with more upside-down gameplay.
