Thinking Space II is a 2.1/2.2 Extreme Demon mega-collaboration level hosted by DrCuber, co-hosted by NineDice, and verified by Zoink on 25 May 2025.[1] It is the official sequel to Thinking Space by HidekiX and is set to be placed in the Top 5 on the Geometry Dash Demonlist if rated.
History
2021
The level was first talked about on November 30th when a gameplay preview of this level released on the Communist Cyclone channel. It was built by many players. At that time, it did not have a specific name and was just called a "Thinking Space Sequel". On December 4th, DrCuber posted a video where he demonstrated the part by Jawis that he decorated. On December 5th, Triforce posted his part of the level: He rebuilt the first half of Maxmur's part.
2022
On January 19th, ADrone uploads Meatlus' part that he decorated to his channel. On February 6th, the first official preview of this level is released on the DrCuber channel, where new parts demonstrates and the nicknames of future decorators. A gameplay showcase of the level was released on the fnm04's channel on April 28th, which attracted more attention to the projrct. galofyf uploadrd HaydenDom's part that he decorated on April 30th. DiamondSkull uploaded the final art of the level created by him with the help of ThunderDarkness and Kevellium, with it's name on his channel.
2023
The level's construction is quiet, and nothing is heard about the project. With rare exceptions, the level was uploaded as an unofficial showcase by random people, some of whom dared to play leaked copies of the gameplay and put progress on them.
2024
On March 4th, CairoX uploaded the level that is fully decorated. ADrone's decoration was replaced by GamerKnight750, and creators Kurewa, NineDice, RealVet, Crowlley and Meox are also decorators. Hyperlith was appointed as the verifier. However, he was unable to set any impressive progress, since the level is too hard. This level was given to Zoink, who buffed it from Top 15 to Top 3, many believed this was harder than Tidal Wave. On November 16th, Zoink launched the first live broadcast of checking Thinking Space II, where he got 50%, 60-100% and 47-77%. On November 27th, fnm04 posted a showcase of Thinking Space II with Zoink's buffs, where you can see how difficult the level has become. Live broadcasts of checking the level ceased until 2025, as Zoink was verifying Quanteuse Processing.
2025
Zoink launches another stream on January 3rd, where he approaches his record from 0%, getting 43%. Off-stream, Zoink got 51% and 53-100%, after which he is distracted by completing andromeda, but on January 26th, he posted a video of Thinking Space II bring completed in 2 progressions: 54% and 53-100%. Having finished with it, Zoink appoints as the verifier for the 2nd time, regularly broadcasting on his YouTube channel. On February 4th, he got 72%. On February 14th, basically called Valentine's Day, he got 0-77% as his new record, and got 79% offline and postpones verification, completing other levels in the Top 50. While he was doing this, the host CairoX decided based on the opnion of the player Diamond that it would be better to nerf it to Top 15, but it will not happen as Zoink will buff it even more. On April 14th, Zoink returns to checking and starts a live stream, where he got 90% (his record from scratch is already 91% on the level). In almost all of his subsequent streams, the player reached the last part of the level but fails. On May 3rd, there is a loss of 95%: Zoink died on the last click of the level. On May 7th, Zoink got 29-100%. At the moment, Zoink has more than 60 deaths on the last part of the level.
Gameplay
- 0-7% (Jawis + DrCuber): The level starts at half-speed. We start with a ship. It has gravity and size changes, orbs and teleportation portals. The ship has manuevers between obstacles in narrow spaces, making it harder. Sometimes, the player will be given a break in the form of platforms on which they can land and not die, but there is no time to relax. This part ends with a straight-fly.
- 7-16% (Rin04 + Korewa): Next is a spider with precise clicks and orbs, and then a ball that does the same thing, but has size changes. After that, a ship with gravity changes in the form of portals and orbs appears, requiring manuevering and straight-flying. It ends as a dual and with wave spam with size changes. It becomes normal-speed at the end.
- 17-23% (HaydenDom + Galofuf): Next is a half-speed ball with extreme timings, pads, portals and orbs, some are invisible. Many passages are narrow, making it more difficult. After that is a cube with similar gameplay with gravity changes, then a straight-fly
- 23-32% (V453C70M14 + ADrone): A difficult cube, then a UFO with critical timings and tight spaces, so you need to have perfect skill. After that is a ball manuevering in the form of a green orb, a hard wave, a spider with square orbs, all of them are mini, and a triple-speed cube with blue orbs. Some decorations block the screen, making it more harder.
- 32-39% (UFokinWotM8 + CairoX): There is a difficult normal speed mini-wave manuevering through a clubstep monster, then goes to a narrow space with spikes. The wave becomes nornal size, but the spaces are narrow and has gravity changes. It becomes a mini-eave again and getsbto a narrow passage, with precise gravity changes.
- 40-50% (Hyperbola + RealVet): A difficult, short robot with timings and orbs, a ball, first was a swing-copter, then turns into a dual ball, and a mini ball, a reminescent of a Slaughterhouse ball, and a robot, approaching the drop.
- 50-73% (NcaT + KugelBlitZ + Crowlley): The drop begins with a triple-speed wave with size changes, a reminescent of the Avernus drop, the speed becomes normal-speed with the spam, back to triple-speed and goes to a difficult ship with orbs. It goes back to a wave but short. It is followed by a UFO with orbs, then a double-speed cube that does the same thing. Then, the player goes to a dash orb, dashing to a robot, then a wave. Goes back to a triple-speed mini-cube
- 74-85% (Maxmur + TriForce + Meox): Next is a quadruple-speed tight swing-copter with many obstacles, an asymetrical wave and spider dual which has blocks and spikes scattered everywhere, then a difficult robot with jumps between saws and changing gravity, and a ship in space with blue orbs similar to Thinking Space.
- 86-98% (Meatius + GamerKnight750): A normal-speed short, narrow mini-wave, a mini-UFO with severe timings using orbs, a double-speed mini-ship with orbs and gravity changes and straight-flying, and a triple-speed narrow mini-wave. Goes to a half-speed cube which orbs and requires memory, then the level ends with a normal-speed quadruple-spike as an extended triple-spike.
- 99-100% (DiamondSkull + ThunderDarkness): This part shows the ending art with the level's name. The background has rocks in rivers, and a planet and satellite is in the sky.
