xo is a 2.1 Extreme Demon level created, published, and verified by KrmaL. The level contains no decoration, instead utilizing basic blocks and the pulse trigger as well as a monochromatic color scheme. Its song, "XO" by Irish singer EDEN and covered by Aaron Musselwhite, is notorious for the iconic line "She's in love with the concept".

- 0-10%: The level starts the player off as a mini cube with four mini spike jumps, with each jump adding another spike before launching the player via a jump pad. There is a choke point around 3%, where the player must make a precise green dash orb timing.
- 10-20%: This part of the level contains cube and ship-based gameplay, with straight-fly around 13-14%.
- 20-33%: The level's first drop initially throws the player into mini wave gameplay, with UFO gameplay around 23%, ball gameplay around 26%, cube gameplay around 28%, and ship gameplay around 30%, which has the player navigate a structure that resembles the level's name after going through a dual portal around the end.
- 33-41%: The player is upsized and has to navigate blue orb timings, which pulse either an X or an O when clicked on.
- 41-50%: The player is first thrown into the second verse of the song, with a tight wave section around 44-45%.
- 50-56%: The player is thrown into ball gameplay, with a ship section around 54%.
- 56-62%: The player turns back into a mini cube and has to navigate a narrow corridor containing spike jumps and orb timings.

- This addition pushed Violently X into the legacy list.
- The original version of the level's song by Irish singer EDEN has over 235 million streams on Spotify, making it his most popular song.[1]
- The Aaron Musselwhite cover currently has over 3.1 million views on YouTube, with him acknowledging the level's existence both in a pinned comment and a reply to KrmaL's comment on the video.[2]
- This level was nominated for Best Extreme Demon in the Geometry Dash Awards 2022. This sparked a lot of controversy due to the level essentially having no decoration.
- On 29 April 2022, the level's song got removed from Newgrounds.[3] However, on 8 March 2024, the song became usable again.[4]
- There's a Minecraft recreation of the level on YouTube by Nasgubb, although it was not made in the editor.[5]
