EASTSIDE is a 2.2 Insane collaboration level by vegtam and fJud, published on 2 February 2026. It is the 21st Event Level. The level features a distinct pop-art and rock band aesthetic that aligns with the theme of the song it uses, 'Eastside' by Good Kid. It includes a Japanese-themed section and unique animations of the band's mascots and lure.
Description
EASTSIDE begins with a brief epilepsy warning, followed by a mini-ball sequence where the player must avoid spikes intermittently while text appears on screen reading 'Level by Vegtam and fJud', 'Song by Good Kid', and 'good luck.' This section is styled to look like it is inside an old-fashioned TV.
The player is then launched into a cube sequence, a very short wave section, and a rooftop robot sequence, featuring quick orbs and upside-down segments. It all takes place in a city area where the lyrics are displayed around the level in various stylised fonts. The player is then launched into a three-floored subway-themed section of the level. The top floor is a ship sequence with no obstacles, the middle floor is a wave sequence with obstacles, and the bottom floor is a ball sequence with obstacles. The lyrics to the song are still visible on the sides of the subway.
After this, the cube enters an elevator and is launched out of it into a fast section that includes a wave, a ball, and a UFO. The player is then thrown into a ball sequence where they must hit the orbs to avoid falling. At this point, the player is still in a city. After this, there is a brief swing sequence at half speed over a Japanese-style neighbourhood and rooftops. Then there is a short cube sequence where the player must hit orbs while dodging a large monster's swings.
The player is then taken into a cutscene in which a person sees demon-like silhouettes and falls into a void. Then, the player is launched into a ship segment in a hell-themed place, where several monsters dance around the ship like a cult. The player is then thrown into a wave sequence in the boss fight, where a large monster attempts to swat, crush, or vaporise the player with lasers fired from its eyes. Exclamation marks appear where the monster will strike next. The player is then thrown into a very quick cube sequence as a breather before being launched back into the boss fight, where, same as the first time, exclamation marks map out where the monster will attack next, which the wave must avoid. Following this, a short cutscene plays, and then an end screen marked with the level's name. After this, the level is completed.

Trivia
- Despite a requested Demon difficulty, EASTSIDE only received a 9-star rating.
- EASTSIDE is the first Event Level since Heave Ho to be Legendary-rated.
- EASTSIDE is very similar to GD GANGSTER RAP; in both levels, the location is a city.
- Coincidentally, fJud was a contributor in both levels.
- EASTSIDE is the second of two collaboration levels between fJud and vegtam made before its music track release. The first, Wall, was uploaded to fJud's account; it became the fifth and final level of the Love Gauntlet.
- EASTSIDE is the second-most downloaded Legendary level, behind BUSSIN.
