Update 1.5 was the fifth major update to Geometry Dash. It mainly introduced level 12, Theory of Everything, with the first of Newgrounds artist DJ-Nate's soundtracks included in an official RobTop level. This level introduces a new portal placing you inside a UFO. With each tap increases the player's upward velocity. This effect is reversed when traveling through a gravity altering portal. This gameplay was likely inspired by the game 'Flappy Bird'. Theory of Everything also introduces purple jump rings and pads on the main path, causing a smaller jump than the original jump pad delivers. The update also introduces the Demon difficulty for custom levels; however, no official levels were rated Demon difficulty until Clubstep in Update 1.6.
