Update 1.8 was the eighth major update to Geometry Dash released on 7 August 2014 for Android and iOS.

Description

Update 1.8 introduced a sixteenth level, Hexagon Force, featuring a new dual portal along with slope blocks and related decorations. The Icon Kit received 8 new icons and 2 new colours. The update also included a variety of level editor additions and improvements, chief among them the ability to playtest levels in-editor rather than standard gameplay testing.

Trivia

  • The ball form had its attributes modified such that an overhead collision with a surface when propelled by a jump pad or ring would no longer result in a crash and instead the ball would safely bump off.
