Level sequence

1 is a 1.1 Hard 5* level created, verified and published by Cody. It is the second level in the Hard Pack. Being an insanely popular level, it currently stands at over 10 million downloads and over 450,000 likes. Despite its popularity (mostly because it is in one of the map packs), it is a highly disliked level with numerous negative comments on both its gameplay and design.

Description

The entire level is played as a cube and the level begins with a section that features many two-spike jumps in a row. Some gameplay similar to that of Polargeist follows. At the drop, the player goes upside-down and the gameplay involves jumping on platforms, similar to Dry Out. After the player switches gravity again, some easier gameplay follows.

As the player goes upside-down again, they go over some spikes via yellow pads before more actual gameplay occurs. Near the ending of the part, many blocks are sprawled above the player and platforms, as to create a 'roof' and force players to use some timing for jumps. After easier normal-gravity gameplay, the level ends with more upside-down gameplay.

Trivia

  • In version 4 of the level, the object count was reduced by 1, like the level's name.
  • The player never changes form in this level, remaining cube the entire time.
  • Unfortunately, the player cannot find this level by searching its name, because when searching a number, the game searches the level ID, not the level name.
