History

The level started in late-October 2020 in a Discord call as a passing suggestion by Days Of Thunder, and thus the project started. In this same call, Salamander and CuLuC offered their assistance, CDMusic accepted, and things went from there for the time being. A couple of weeks later, Zimnior12 (owner of APTeam) heard about the project and offered to take it under the wing of APTeam as a project with him still as the main host. CDMusic accepted the offer, and the project proceeded to healthily progress over the next six months.

On February 7, 2021, the level's first preview was released by Zimnior12 and showcased seven merged parts, one of which was soon replaced at a later date.

However, in April 2021, due to internal drama that both CDMusic and Zimnior12 would not like to disclose, the level was taken away from APTeam and brought back into CDMusic's hands as a hosting endeavor.

As of June 2021, CDMusic hopes to release a second preview of the level showcasing eleven total parts and new transitions made by CDMusic himself, CuLuC, and Linear.

On July 13, 2021, CDMusic created a trailer and four parts left.

After New Year's Day of 2022, CuLuC showcases a teaser of Edge of Destiny for the full level.

The level is expected to be Top 3-10 on the Geometry Dash Demonlist and is set to be verified by Polterghast once the level is finished decorating.

Gameplay

Template:Low-Faith/SectionThe gameplay is similar to Blade of Justice with significant buffs or DuaL KiKi's unnerfed version of Blade of Justice. Only significant changes from Blade of Justice's original gameplay will be documented below. For information on the full gameplay, see Blade of Justice#Gameplay.

  • (CDMusic): The first part is buffed, receiving tighter spaces.
  • (Linear): There are no significant changes in this part, but there are some buffs and additional sawblades.
  • (RealVet): This part is also buffed with tighter spaces.
  • (Avati): The straight fly and Clubstep monsters are tighter, and the ball part is also buffed.
  • (RealVet): The mini-portal in the UFO section is moved and stacked on a pink orb, and there are more sawblades. The dual wave part received some tighter spaces.
  • (Nickalopogas): The dual ship part is tighter and has an additional small spike before the cube transition.
  • (Firy): The sawblades in the cube section are tighter, removing the near the first block platform, adding the third block jump orb and small spikes, and the jump orbs are buffed.
  • (Parallax): The mixed dual part is way tighter, and the wave part has 13 additional sawblades.
  • (CuLuC): A spike and some jump orbs are added before the UFO part. In the UFO part, the sawblades are tighter, removing the slope near the third green jump orb, adding the third yellow jump orb, and the sawblades in the short ship part are buffed.
  • (Salamandar): The swing copter part has additional sawblades and two size portals.
  • (CuLuC + Uriun): A sawblade and a gravity portal are added in the wave part, while the ship and UFO parts are buffed.

  • (???): The ship corridors are buffed, making them really tight.
  • (???): The final ship segment has some additional spikes and must beat to clear the level.

Trivia
