Back On Dash is a 2.2 Hard level by AudieoVisual. It is the first level of the NoCopyrightSounds x Geometry Dash album and the first ever Event Level. It is a 2.2 remake of the main level Back On Track, using DJVI's new version of Back On Track.

Description

[edit | edit source]
  • 0-18%: The first section of Back On Dash is very similar to the first section of Back On Track, with a similar introduction to pads. However, there is pretty minor decoration, with only particles, glow, and minor block decorations.
  • 18-36%: More decoration appears, with comets or meteors, minor air decoration, and a glowing circle (probably representing an '80s retro background). Orbs, mini-portals, and gravity portals also start to appear in this section.
  • 36-58%: This section begins with the player turning into a fast robot (which later turns into a mini-robot), with decoration similar to the first section but with extra air and ground decoration. There are still orbs and platforms in this section. The player then turns into a very fast ship, with the letters 'Back On DASH' appearing before transitioning into the next section.
  • 58-76%: This section heavily builds on the Back On Track ship section, with shape-styled decoration, like hexagons, arrows, and squares. At the end of the section, it transitions by showing the cube (presumably the player) going through the ball portal.
  • 76-100%: The ball section includes spikes, pads, orbs, and gravity portals. Then the player turns into a cube and must do spike jumps and orb clicks. When the player is about to complete the level, it suddenly goes into slow-motion, with the level title appearing.

User coins

[edit | edit source]
  • The first coin is obtained in the first robot section, where, instead of going down to avoid a spike structure at 42%, the player must make a full jump above the structure, obtaining the coin.
  • The second coin is obtained almost the same way as the second secret coin in Back on Track: avoid the first obstacle in the first ship section and fly into a gap in the second obstacle at 61% to obtain the coin.
  • The third and final coin is obtained in the second cube section, where, instead of going above a platform, the player must fall below it, obtaining the coin. To drop beneath the platform, the player must make a late jump at 88%.

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Though aware he was creating a level for the NCS x GD Album Event, AudieoVisual was not aware that Back On Dash would become the first.[1]
