EATEOT
EATEOT, short for Everywhere at the End of Time, is an unrated 2.2 Extreme Demon level by DarkFeind, verified by Striker820 on 2 January 2026.[1] The level is based on and uses the six-and-a-half-hour, six-album ambient music project of the same name by James Leyland Kirby under the alias the Caretaker that portrays the progression of Alzheimer's disease and dementia. The level also portrays the stages of dementia slowly devolving with structures starting to repeat more and and more as the level goes on.
EATEOT is well known its length of 6 hours 30 minutes and 34 seconds. Upon release it recieved some backlash for being unbalanced and chokepoint heavy, specifically at both 15.73% and 25.5% containing large amounts of triple spikes back to back. An official bugfix and nerfdate was announced on July 10, 2026.[2] The update was verified by Striker820 on July 23, 2026.[3]

Trivia
- A quote from the Caretaker, the artist who produced the soundtrack used for EATEOT, is displayed at the end of the level: 'Thanks for the support through the years. May the ballroom remain eternal. C'est fini.' (French for 'it is finished'.)
- After 32.92%, some of EATEOT's gameplay starts to consist of the same structures and jumps copied and pasted for long periods of time.
- EATEOT only took seven months to finish, even though stage 1 took four months.
- The last two stages took only a single day to make.
- Originally around 18% due to X-Position bugs the cube would jump lower causing jumps in the level to become much harder, however this was fixed in the bugfix.
- The bugfix also fixed a bug that would cause the player to start moving a lot faster 53.70% into the level.
