Template:Infobox Level Avernus is an upcoming 2.1 Extreme Demon mega-collaboration hosted by Woom and Kyhros. It is the official sequel/Antagonist to the Extreme Demon The Golden. It is set to be the hardest demon on the Geometry Dash Demonlist when released, although it has competition against Firework, Silent Circles, The Eternal Night, Galaxy Collapse, Misanthrope, Sonic Wave Infinity, and Arcturus. All of which claim to be the hardest level in the game.

• The duration of the level is 1 minute and 17 seconds.
• Bo built the entire layout
• The original sequel to The Golden was called "The Gates". However it was scrapped and replaced with Avernus
• The original hosts were Bo and El3ctro, however they were replaced by Woom and Kyhros. The decision was mainly due to the inactivity of members and El3ctro as a host
• Avernus seems to be opposite from The Golden since The Golden is very dark while Avernus is bright and clear to see
