New form in Blast Processing

Blast Processing is the seventeenth level in Geometry Dash. It will be released in the 1.9 update.

Introduction

On September 16, 2014, Robert Topala posted image on Facebook and Twitter, with the caption "Can You Guess" on the bottom left hand corner. It displayed 5 images: a blast, chip, book, an infinity symbol, and the number 2. The first two figures referred to the Waterflame song, Blast Processing. On September 28, Topala published a post on Facebook, thanking his supporters for helping his page get 400,000 likes. He also posted a sneak peek video of Blast Processing, confirming its existence. It is also possible eternity or ToE2 is the next new level. Blast Processing introduces the new blue portal that transforms the player into a triangle like vehicle.

Description

Blast Processing introduces a variety of new aesthetics, such as gear-like rotating obstacles. It starts off with a brief cube scene, and features the new blue portal, which transforms the icon into a Wave Wave-like form.

Trivia

  • The new mechanic is very similar to an iOS and Android game Wave Wave by Noodlecake Studios.
  • The speech in the music before the blue portal says "Get ready for some fun, and excitement." like a corrupted walkie-talkie.
