Map
The Map is an upcoming feature of Geometry Dash, planned to be released in Update 2.21. It will accessed from the creator menu.
Description
The Map will Most likely include user platformer levels and Demon Towers with many new rewards to earn.
Trivia
We will most likely find a new character in the map, called the King. Robtop Shared Concept art of it in the Discord Server
When clicking on the map in 2.2, it showes a new image of a snowy area, and what seems to ba a door.
You can kill monsters in the map by tapping on them. Weather this will be linked to an achievment or icon is unknown. All monster types have been seen in the map except the tall varient of the rectangular monsters.
The map was partially leaked in GD world, but no textures were found other than the monsters. You can only load it in with the editor UI enabled for some reason.
Robtop said in a live stream that you could get a "rolling spider" animation from a shop in the map, however this might just be RobTop joking around.
"One million orbs, you can unlock the rolling spider, or I'll improve it, and hide it on the map, like in the store ...You guys are too easy to troll. No, im not going to make it 1 Million orbs, It's gonna cost like 2 Million Orbs, Maybe 3."
The areas of the map are most likely themed around shards of power. We have seen a grass area (poison), ice (ice,), Deserty (fire), and a black (shadow) area.
