Trivia

On 16 June 2017, Viprin tweeted some images of early concept art for Geometry Dash.^[1] The third picture shows a hexagon-styled gear saw blade, which was early concept art for 1.8, probably tying into the 6-sided theme of the update.
This update has a small tweak to ball physics where the player no longer dies if they hit a ceiling with a pad or orb and instead acts like there's an H block there.
The sneak peek for this update doesn't include the first secret coin, which, in the final version, is located in the first ball sequence.
