Overview

Speed Racer is a demon level created by ZenthicAlpha in early 1.9. The level tests the basic memorisation skills of a player and goes much below the difficulty of a typical demon. It may be considered a very easy demon and, furthermore, the easiest demon by ZenthicAlpha. Because of this, this is one of the most popular demon ever. This level also features an huge amount of speed portals, that improves the syncronization to the music.

Gameplay

This level starts with a simple cube with jump rings and spikes, then a mini cube with tricks and blue pads, that ends with an auto part in normal mode. After appears three brief parts: a ship with invisible spikes, a memory cube similar to the previous and a ball with basic mashing. Then appears a semi auto cube with few jumps, then the music drops and a variable speed ship appears before single, then dual, then single again. After that there is a mini ball with central blocks and clusters of speed portals, when you must memorise the correct path to not hitting an invisible spike. Then the ball becomes dual with spikes and speed portals that disorient the player. Then appears a single ship that alternates the layout of the previous one and the layout of the last dual ball (but before single and then dual). After a simple double speed UFO the ship returns, in the same way of the previous. A very simple cube like in the beginning lends to the last, longer memorisation mini ball. The level ends in a ship mode and the background turns to red and the mark of ZenthicAlpha appears: Zenthic upside, Alpha below. You must pass between, flying upside to avoid an invisible wall that can generate an annoying crash at 98-99%.
