Brainfugd (also known as Brainfu) is a 2.1 solo Easy Demon created, verified and published by Spu7Nix. This level is centered around the esoteric programming language Brainf*ck, an extremely minimal language that only uses 8 characters and is notoriously complicated to work with.

Gameplay

There are four modes to choose from: Tutorial, Challenge, Coins and Sandbox.

  • In Tutorial, the level teaches how to program in Brainf*ck.
  • In Challenge, the player is given six programming challenges, as well as two coin challenges.
  • In Coins, the player is given two coin challenges, each granting a coin upon completion.
  • In Sandbox, the player can is free to program anything they wish.

The level features abstract and colourful visuals against a black background. If Low Detail Mode is enabled, these visuals are hidden.

To complete the level, the player must complete Challenge 4 or Coin 1. Upon completing the level, an animation plays where Spu7nix's logo touches a surface of water, forming ripples.

User coins

There are three coins:

  • To obtain the first coin, the player must complete all 6 challenges in Challenge mode.
  • To obtain the second coin, the player must complete the first coin challenge, which is to make a program that outputs 'COIN'.
  • To obtain the third coin, the player must complete the second coin challenge, which is to make a program that outputs 'COIN COIN'.

The second and third coin can be obtained in either Challenge or Coins mode.
