Xstep v2 is a 1.5 Easy Demon level created, verified and published by Neptune on 12 March 2014. It is the first level in Remix Pack 4.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Xstep v2 is the first v2 level Neptune created that is a Demon. It is a harder remake of the official level xStep.

  • 0-9%: Xstep v2 begins with an altered version of the first cube part in xStep. There are fakes, structures and spikes the player must jump over.
  • 9-18%: Next comes a ball section, a buffed version from the original xStep, with many gravity portals, blue pads and orbs. It has one notable fake blue orb at the end, right before the ship.
  • 18-27%: After the ball section comes the ship section. The player must manoeuvre upwards through spikes, then downwards, and straight-fly through sawblades, then up again and down a little through spikes. The last 3% is a straight-fly through spikes on the ceiling and floor.
  • 27-36%: Next comes a cube section with many notable fakes. There are many gravity portals, yellow orbs and yellow pads. The player then enters an auto section, which consists of a series of blue pads, and proceeds to the next section.
  • 36-54%: Next comes a ship section similar to xStep's ship section, except more buffed. The player must fly and manoeuvre around tight spikes before going into the blue pad section. This section consists mainly of straight-fly, where the player should avoid touching the blue pads as well as spikes scattered around.
  • 54-72%: After the ship is the cube section. This part has the most fakes out of all the sections. The player must select the correct pad or orb to progress to the next section. There are many yellow pads, yellow orbs, blue pads, blue orbs and gravity portals.
  • 72-90%: After the cube, the ball section follows, where the player must navigate through gravity portals, yellow orbs, blue orbs, and blue pads. There is one notable fake around the end of this section.
  • 90-100%: The level ends with a ship section where the player must fly around spiky structures. The last 4% is a relatively tight straight-fly.
