Auditory Breaker is a 2.0/2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration level by LazerBlitz and Manix648, featuring gameplay by Cyclic. It was verified by Gabs and published on 7 January 2019.

Description

Auditory Breaker is a slightly easier remake of Sonic Wave, the most prominent, elevating it beyond the Nine Circles levels genre. Initially set to be a mega-collaboration with five of his friends and verified by Surv, it was considered the best Sonic Wave remake at the time. It was dead for two years because it was unfinished and because Surv picked up Yatagarasu. In October and November 2018, LazerBlitz decided to decorate 43-88% of the level and gave it to Gabs to verify. He verified it on 7 January 2019.

Trivia

• Auditory Breaker was placed at #19 on the Demonlist on 22 May 2019, above Step To Hell and below Dark Flare.
  • This addition pushed Asmodeus into the Extended List and Retention into the Legacy List.
• The finished version by LazerBlitz keeps Manix's part unchanged except for an art removal. It is strange because Manix's wave uses a different effect style because of the supposed '5-player collab' rule, and 40-43% is undecorated.
• Because Gabs published it on LazerBlitz's account, it is the first-rated Sonic Wave remake.
  • Meanwhile, Gabs nerfed Auditory Breaker to a lower Top 10 difficulty and changed the 'GG PENIS' to a GG GABS with 'By Manix/Lazer' text.
• Auditory Breaker is the first-ever Sonic Wave remake to be rated.
• The placement of Night Rider on 9 March 2022 pushed Auditory Breaker into the Legacy List of the Demonlist.

Notable completions

• DashY became the first player to beat Auditory Breaker on mobile on 29 May 2021, using a 120Hz phone.
