Extreme Park is a 1.2 Medium Demon level by Rabbitical, published on 16 November 2013. It is one of the first Demon levels to primarily focus on memory, making it the hardest level ever published at the time.[1]
Description
[edit | edit source]- 0-13%: Extreme Park begins with a tricky normal-speed cube section that contains many fakes, especially orb-fakes. Additionally, arrows are added to help the player know the correct path. This part is mainly memory-based, with no difficult timings.
- 13-44%: After an upside-down section with less memory and timing, the player enters a more specific timing part used as a bridge for the second main memory part full of multiple fake paths.
- 44-61%: The level then becomes easy to sight-read. After a climb and then a fall, the player enters a tight section containing three orbs, at which the player must only hit the first two. After two other orbs, the first and only ship section follows.
- 61-73%: Following this is a simple ship sequence, where the player needs to avoid 'spike-balls' - essentially groups of four blocks and eight spikes around them to resemble sawblades and a spike right in a block.
- 73-100%: Afterwards, the level returns to focus on more memory. The player enters a large structure full of fake walls and paths. Finally, after a short 'descending climb', the level ends.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Extreme Park is one of the first five Demons rated simultaneously.
- Extreme Park is regarded as the third instance of the hardest rated level in the game's history.
- However, worth mentioning is that the original Demonlist was started in 2015 by the player loogiah,[2] meaning all levels created before 2015 were not Top 1 for the simple reason of the list determining the hardest levels in the game not existing at the time.
- Extreme Park is the oldest-rated Medium Demon in the game.
- Extreme Park was formerly a Hard Demon, but it was downgraded to a Medium Demon on 6 April 2025.
- Even while Extreme Park was a Hard Demon, many victors claimed it was an Easy or Medium Demon.
- Extreme Park's name was most likely inspired by demon park.
- Extreme Park remained the final legitimately verified-former hardest Demon in the game until Bloodbath.
- In addition, Extreme Park is the last legitimately verified-fully solo hardest Demon in the game (a level created and verified by the same person)
- Extreme Park is considered one of the best-looking-hardest Demons of the early era.[3]
- Ironically, Extreme Park was in the dislike ratio for more than eight years.
