Chaoz Airflow is a 1.9 Medium Demon level by Sumsar, published on 11 December 2014.[1] The level is well known for its fast-paced sequences that inspired many creators in their levels, such as The Robotic Rush.

Chaoz Airflow was once considered a Hard Demon in the early 1.9 era, but after the release of far harder levels, it has been revalued as a Medium Demon. Its difficulty approaches Golden Haze, another level from that period.

Description

[edit | edit source]
  • 0-21%: Chaoz Airflow begins with an easy cube sequence with simple jumps. It ends with a transition featuring gravity portals.
  • 21-28%: Following the transition is a slightly difficult double-speed ship sequence with gravity portals and tight spaces to fly through.
  • 28-36%: After that is a short ball sequence, which seems straightforward but includes fakes and invisible hazards that require precise timings to get through.
  • 36-43%: A mirrored wave sequence follows, where the spaces seem large but are tight because of an abundance of invisible sawblades.
  • 43-48%: Next is a short UFO sequence featuring passages of invisible sawblades and frequent gravity changes.
  • 48-58%: After a brief break, the mirror effect ceases, and the player gets propelled into triple speed, entering a very hard symmetrical dual-mini-ship sequence with sawblades and thorn-like slope structures, requiring great ship control to pass. The dual and size change cease halfway through.
  • 58-66%: Next is an ordinary wave sequence featuring invisible slope structures.
  • 66-73%: After that is a difficult double-speed UFO sequence which features tight spaces that require precise timings, along with some gravity portals and cogwheels.
  • 73-80%: The next sequence is a straightforward dual-mini-wave which becomes solo halfway through.
  • 80-91%: After an auto mini-cube transition with blue pads is a triple-speed mostly-symmetrical mini-dual-cube that can be confusing because of invisible mini-blocks and spikes.
  • 91-100%: After a short, easy ball sequence, the level ends with a moderately difficult mini-ship sequence with a tight corridor that requires precise manoeuvring. The creator's name appears right at the end of the corridor.

User coins

[edit | edit source]

Chaos Airflow contains three unverified user coins.

  • The first coin is located in the wave sequence at 42%. To collect it, the player must go through the structure containing the coin.
  • The second coin is located in the wave sequence at 62%. To collect it, the player must go above the small sawblade.
  • The third and final coin is located in the ball sequence at 92%. To collect it, the player must click at the end of the sloped platform to land on another platform above.
