Dreamland is a 1.4 Hard level by Scanbrux. It is the second level of the Beginner Pack.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Dreamland is a traditional 1.4 level featuring an extended cube section followed by ship and cube sequences. It uses Back On Track and includes several obstacle arrangements reminiscent of the official level, with additional deceptive paths, non-functional pads and more complex spike formations.

The decoration consists primarily of black blocks with white outlines, rectangular background panels and suspended structures attached to chains. The colour scheme progresses from red to purple and finally blue.

  • 0-17%: Dreamland begins as a cube with a red background. The opening introduces single and triple-spikes before adding short pillars, yellow pads, and raised platforms. Later, obstacles include overhead spike structures, narrow columns and combinations of ground spikes and suspended hazards.
  • 17-50%: The background becomes purple while the cube gameplay continues. This section contains pillars of varying heights, platforms suspended from chains and pads positioned near spikes. Some pads and apparent routes are non-functional or deceptive. The latter portion introduces larger structures, closely spaced spike formations and a series of tall pillars leading into a portal.
  • 50-67%: A ship sequence begins against a blue-purple background. Initial obstacles include large square formations surrounded by spikes. These are followed by sloped structures that form alternating upper and lower passages. The final portion becomes a longer corridor with spikes lining both boundaries before the player returns to a cube.
  • 67-84%: The player reappears in a purple section containing suspended blocks, spike-topped platforms, and columns of alternating heights. Several yellow pads launch the player between raised structures and over longer arrangements of ground spikes.
  • 84-100%: The background changes to blue for the final sequence. The player must cross single-spikes, triple-spikes, and multiple sets of closely spaced hazards. Yellow pads assist with several elevated jumps beneath suspended spike platforms. Near the end, large black structures spell 'SCAN' along the top and 'BRUX' along the bottom, forming the creator's name before the level finishes.
