Fire Aura is a 1.9/2.0 Harder level by Sumsar, published on 15 January 2015. It is the fourth level of the Lava Gauntlet.
Description
[edit | edit source]Fire Aura begins with an easy cube section with some orbs and invisible spikes. Next, the player enters a double-speed ship sequence, which can be done easily by following the arrows. Then, the player enters a somewhat difficult wave segment. Next is an easy ball section and a short cube section. Afterwards, the player enters a triple-speed wave segment and becomes a dual-wave. It is considered the hardest part of the level, requiring fast inputs and spamming, and the player must perform difficult manoeuvres as a dual-wave.
Then, a fast ship sequence appears. The player enters a fairly difficult UFO segment with some gravity portals. Following this is a relatively easy ball section. Next, there is a tricky mini-ship sequence with some tight spaces. The player enters a fast-paced yet easy cube section except for a troll orb at 93%. The level ends with an easy and half-speed mini-wave dual.
User coins
[edit | edit source]Fire Aura contains three user coins.
- The first coin is located at 38% in the cube section. To collect it, jump from the pink orbs, not from the yellow.
- The second coin is located at 55% in the wave segment. To collect it, travel above the tunnel with the entrance to the portal.
- The third and final coin is located at 98% at the double-speed wave segment. To collect it, go in and out of the wall through a small space.

[edit | edit source]- Due to the use of fast and very fast speed portals across sequences of different forms, and in particular wave sequences, Fire Aura is noticeably more difficult than other levels of the original eight gauntlets, excluding those of the intentionally harder Chaos and Demon gauntlets.
- Fire Aura is one of four Gauntlet levels made before Update 2.0, the other three being Scarlet Surge and Kappaclysm in the Chaos Gauntlet, and Death Moon in the Cursed Gauntlet. Fire Aura is the oldest, also making it the oldest Gauntlet level overall.
- Fire Aura was updated in Update 2.0, adding its three user coins.
- On 1 April 2021, RobTop accidentally deleted all of the level's comments.
