UltraSonic is a 1.9/2.1 Insane Demon mega-collaboration level hosted and published by ZenthicAlpha. It was initially verified by Giron on 18 June 2015[1] and then re-verified by Golden for a coin update on 26 May 2020.[2] It is the sequel to Supersonic and the prequel of HyperSonic.

Description

[edit | edit source]
  • 0-12% (Ggb0y): UltraSonic begins with a normal-speed ship sequence. The player must fly up and through a 1.5 block gap between two spikes, then again one block later. They must then dip down into a mini portal, but must not go down too far, or they will crash into a 45-degree slope with thorns. The player must then hit a yellow orb into a short auto part. They will emerge as an upside-down mini-ship, flying through a tight space. The text 'Ggb0y' can be seen here, indicating that it is his part. The player then enters a double-speed mini-ball section, where the best option is to hit the middle of the blue orb visible and spam to avoid spikes. They then enter a triple-speed upside-down mini-cube section where simple memorization is needed to jump on the right blocks.
  • 12-29% (Xcy7): The next part is a triple-speed normal-sized cube segment, where memorization is needed as the player must hit blue orbs to flip gravity and jump from the ceiling simultaneously, entering the occasional mini- and mirror portals. The player then enters an upside-down mini-ship, staying at triple speed, with the text 'XCY7' present in a black frame.
  • 29-42% (ZenthicAlpha): The next part is a mini upside-down cube segment, staying at triple speed, quickly followed by an upside-down mini-wave, then a normal mini-ship, followed by another triple-speed mini-cube, full of orbs to hit and avoid, followed again by another mini-ship sequence, then another mini-cube segment, another mini-ship sequence, this time with an upside-down segment, then a mini-ball section with the text 'ZENTHIC' present.
  • 42-51% (Glittershroom): Then, the player enters a short half-speed auto cube section with the text 'GLITTER' present, followed by what fans call a 'swing copter' (a double ball where the 'player 2' ball controls the 'player 1' ball in mid-air) at triple speed, which is often considered as the hardest part of the level.
  • 51-60% (Viprin): There is a triple-speed mini-ball full of trick blocks, orbs, and pillars. The text VIP is present, indicating that it is his part.
  • 60-75% (Evasium): The player then enters a double-speed mini-cube segment involving simple memorization, with the text 'EVASIM' (a misspelling) visible. Next, there is a tiny dual mini-cube part, followed by a short mini-ship, a mini-ball, and finally another mini-ship at double- and then triple-speed. It transitions into a somewhat inconsistent UFO section where the player must hop through a tight space using the pink orbs, followed by a combination of mini- and normal-sized waves. The section ends with a moderately easy mini-cube section.
  • 75-88% (Jeyzor): The player enters a highly complex half-speed mini-cube segment full of trick pads and orbs, slowly speeding up. Good memorization is needed here, as the player must know not only which orbs or pads to hit and avoid, but also whether to hit them early or late. At the end of the section, the text 'JEYZOR' appears.
  • 88-100% (Sumsar): The final section is a half-speed mini-wave segment with the text 'SUMSAR' present at the beginning. The player must manoeuvre through moderately tight spaces and be careful not to get tripped up by the two gravity changes. They must then fly through some even tighter spaces and avoid invisible cogs as a mini-ship at normal speed, again with two gravity changes present. Then, the level ends with an upside-down mini-wave at triple speed with the text 'Ayy LMAO' visible. It is considered one of the hardest parts of the level.

User coins

[edit | edit source]
  • The first coin is located at 10% in the upside-down mini-cube sequence. The player must avoid jumping on the third block to go upwards and jump on the fifth block to collect the coin.
  • The second coin requires activating a toggle orb at 43% in the transition sequence to the drop. This orb makes the swing-copter sequence normal size instead of mini. Completing this challenge awards the player the coin at 52%.
  • The third and final coin requires the player to hit a pink orb early to land on an invisible platform below the wave portal at 88%. The player would be teleported into the mini-wave sequence as normal. However, the following ship sequence would now be in normal size instead of mini. Completing this challenge awards the player the coin at 98%.
