Template:Infobox Level Aquatic Auroras is a 2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration created by EndLevel, Lime, and El3ctr0, and verified by Aeden on April 7, 2020. It is a difficult remake of Nine Circles and a remake and replacement for Azure Flare, a top 3 level that was canceled after sparks of drama. It is currently #20 on the Official Geometry Dash Demon List, above Wasureta (#21), and below The Yandere (#19).
Gameplay
The level begins with the pre-drop of the song, and the gameplay consists of a cube section that features extremely precise timings. After a little bit, the game mode switches to a ball, though still keeping the precise timings. Next is a ship sequence with some precise straight-fly, and also jump orb timings. Then, a short cube section appears, with some brief timings as the music starts to build up.
Following this, the music beat drops and the player enters the Nine Circles-styled wave section. It starts off with a triple-speed segment, but then quickly transitions to a quadruple-speed auto segment, though it quickly turns into two difficult clicks. After this, a dual wave appears at 28%. It is very short, as it has only three timings in it. Next, the player will have to alter between many different sizes and speed portals.
Afterward, at 40%, the player enters a short triple-speed auto cube section and a second wave segment follows. Here, the player must contend with narrower spaces and more speed changes, as well as a short yet difficult triple-speed dual wave segment at ~57%. Shortly afterward, at 61%, the player enters another auto cube section before transitioning into the third wave segment of the level. This segment consists of frequent gravity changes, slightly wider spaces, a few speed changes, and only one mini-portal. At the conclusion of this section, at ~82%, the player goes through one final auto cube section.
Later, the player enters a normal-speed cube section with a small handful of tricky timings, then a ship sequence that contains some tight spaces and several jump orb-based timings. Afterward, there is one final mini-cube section with a few timings and some disorienting effects playing in the background. Finally, the player transitions into one final ship sequence that has four large saw blades that must be avoided and four spikes that are attached to two decorations that both resemble the letter "G", which spell out "GG". If the player manages to clear this section, the level ends.
Trivia
- The password for this level is 789123.
- This level contains 92,118 objects.
- It is a remake of Nine Circles.
- This level's duration is 1m 8s.
- EndLevel no longer considers Aeden to be the verifier, passing that to a player called Ryamu who was an early victor of that level and beat it on a copy.
- A lot of people consider this to be harder than Arctic Lights and therefore be the hardest NC level ever, despite being below AL.
- It was placed at #19 in the Official Demon list on June 8, 2020, above Plasma Pulse Finale (#20), and below The Yandere (#18).
- Funny enough, this knocked Altered Ascent off the Top 50 and Sonic Wave off the Top 25, despite this and SW both being NC levels and Altered Ascent knocking SINGULARITY off the Main list, and SINGULARITY knocking Bloodbath off the Top 50. This also knocked Niflheim into the Legacy list.
- This is JakeN2436's worst extreme demon and his worst Nine Circles Level
