Astralith is a 2.2 Easy Demon mega-collaboration level published by Arclia. Being the first Mythic-rated classic level, Astralith received acclaim from players for its art and usage of 2.2 effects.[1] Astralith is the fifth and final level of the Forest Gauntlet.
Description
[edit | edit source]- 0-6%: Astralith begins with a simple robot section, where the player must jump over two rocks.
- 6-11%: Using the robot, the player hops onto a cart with a potion. After taking the potion, the player transforms into a swing, needing to avoid floating rocks. The player then converts into a cube and heads into a forest-like area.
- 11-17%: A straightforward cube section with sightread-able gameplay. At 16%, the player stands on a podium and teleports from a light beam.
- 17-23%: The player is teleported into a church-like structure, using the wave to avoid floating blocks. The player then converts back into a cube and jumps over spikes.
- 23-34%: The player falls and transforms into a robot, jumping over tight gaps and converting back into a cube to use orbs to progress, followed by a ship section where the player must fly through tight spaces, ending with tricky UFO timings as the player boards a paper swan.
- 34-39%: After the cube alights from the swan, the player transforms into a swing, needing to avoid red flowers that would kill upon impact. The player then transforms into a cube and a ball.
- 39-45%: A simple cube section follows, leading to a transition with the ship flying over a pond.
- 45-50%: After transitioning into a robot, the player quickly turns back into a cube, with egg-like structures and mountains in the background.
- 50-57%: A ball and UFO section follows in a garden-like setting decorated with lanterns and cherry blossoms.
- 57-62%: The screen fades to a wooden-gear section, where the player navigates a spider section, traversing tricky platforms.
- 62-69%: After ascending as a cube via an invisible platform, the player traverses a white structure adorned with lanterns, moss, and plants, using both the cube and ship.
- 69-74%: The player uses the cube and ship to dash through rocks with runes, where flowers grow as they progress.
- 74-79%: After getting sucked into a portal, the player is launched onto a train surrounded by wizards, using orbs to climb atop the train, where a bright star is revealed.
- 79-86%: This section is entirely auto, with winged creatures carrying the player through a town, destroying a crystal that breaks the portal they went through. The winged creatures then drop the player off in a forest filled with fairies.
- 86-100%: The player traverses the forest, using the cube and robot to avoid red flowers while fairies rest on blue flowers. The player enters a broken home and meets a smiling fairy, displaying the level's title at the end.
