Description
General
Beat Ninja is a minigame level in which the player takes on the role of a ninja wielding a katana. The objective is to slash fireballs that approach from three directions: above, the left, and the right. The level begins with an opening screen, where the player can choose to 'Play!', view the 'Credits', or check their 'Rewards'. Selecting 'Play!' opens a second menu, where the player can access the 'Level Select' screen, open the 'Settings' screen, or return to the opening screen.
Gameplay
If the player hovers over a level in the Level Select screen, a preview of its song begins to play. After selecting a level, gameplay begins. The first time the player opens a level, a tutorial screen is displayed that explains the controls for both the PC and mobile versions of the game. The player can slash left by moving left, right by moving right, and upwards by jumping. The appearance of a plasma ball is indicated by an exclamation mark (!) shortly before it enters the screen.
During each level, the player has three health points. Each time a fireball is missed, the player loses one health point. If all three health points are lost, the level is failed. However, any points earned before the attempt are not lost.
If the player completes the level without losing all of their health points, they are awarded points based on the level's difficulty and the number of health points they have remaining. To complete the level, the player must collect a minimum of 35,000 points before entering the Rewards room.
Each level also features a Spam bar, which fills slightly every time the player swings the katana. If the bar becomes full, the player is temporarily unable to attack for a few seconds. This mechanic is likely intended to prevent players from spamming attacks and potentially cheesing the level.
Settings
The Settings menu contains four options:
- Spam Bar Position – Allows the player to choose whether the Spam bar is displayed in the bottom-left or top-left corner of the screen.
- Hide UI – Hides the user interface, including the Spam bar and the player's remaining health points.
- Tutorial Mode – Grants the player infinite health, allowing them to practice without failing. However, completing levels in this mode does not award any points.
- Pro mode – Causes any fireball that is missed to instantly defeat the player, regardless of how many health points they have remaining.

Trivia
- Beat Ninja uses 6 songs and 18 sound effects (SFXs).
- Beat Ninja uses '-Striker-' by Waterflame as the menu theme.
- Beat Ninja's difficulty frequently fluctuates between Hard Demon and Insane Demon.
- In the Settings menu, 'Tutorial Mode' is written with a capital M, while 'Pro mode' is written with a lowercase m. It is likely an unintended inconsistency in the level's text.
- Completing Space Invaders is not required to finish the level. However, it is required to obtain any of the user coins.
