Cognition (formerly known as kowarinnards) is a 2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration created by EndLevel and Benji8080, published by EndLevel and verified by nSwish on 28 September 2019.[1] It is known for having ridiculously tight timings, although being a minute long.
An official sequel named Oblivion was verified by dice88 on 5 July 2021.[2]
Gameplay
- 0-22%: When the level starts, the player already has to do ridiculous timings, while the portals and orbs are invisible. These timings are difficult and tight. Then, a short ball section appears, with some similar timings. After this, another cube section appears with the same timings as before. Then, a difficult ship section comes, consisting of very tight straight-flying. Eventually, the ship will slow down, and the screen darkens. Then, the next section comes.
- 22-52%: This section is at triple-speed, extremely spammy and precise. Many different game-mode portals fly at the player while they have to perform difficult quick timings. Once the section has reached its halfway point, there is a passive but tight wave section, which brings the player into the second half of this section. The second half contains some extreme duals and some tight waves. At the end of this section, there is another short wave segment.
- 52-72%: The speed has now slowed to normal speed, but the timings are still incredibly difficult. The start of this part begins with a cube section before turning into a UFO with some pretty weird timings and click patterns. After this, the speed slows down to half with another cube section. Following this is a ship section, with some very tight straight-fly. This part is widely considered the easiest of the level.
- 73-100%: This part is slightly easier than 22-52%. It is very similar to it but is at double-speed. This part is the most synced out of the whole level. The first half is similar to 22-52%, and the second half is as well, although having a bit of dual-action.
