Description
[edit | edit source]Note: Percentages in this section assume the player is avoiding the first coin route.
- 0-15%: getHappier starts with a slow-speed cube section with 0.8x gravity. The player falls a few times before jumping, falling, jumping, hitting a yellow orb, hitting a yellow pad, landing on a platform, falling, hitting a yellow orb, jumping twice, and jumping into invisible pads. Squares indicate the position of the player. The player jumps and hits two yellow orbs. The player does this again, lands on a platform, falls, hits a pink pad and a pink orb, and falls twice. A smiley face appears and the next section starts after a short transition.
- 15-29%: The player becomes a normal gravity swing. The player goes up and down, flies through an open gap, flips at least 7-8 times and can hit the floor and ceiling, and flips five times to avoid lasers before becoming a ship at 25%. The player goes up to fly in the middle, goes up more to go above a spike, and goes down to go below a spike.
- 29-43%: The player becomes a 2x speed robot. The player jumps, falls, does another jump and hits a spider orb that flips the player's gravity, falls and does three jumps, and becomes 4x speed and hits a spider orb that flips the player's gravity. The player goes upwards vertically and times 7 flips after being flipped by a blue pad once. The player then becomes a 2x speed robot, falls and hits three green orbs, hits a yellow pad, hits a spider pad that makes the player normal gravity and teleports the player down into yellow pads. The player does one more jump before being teleported and being turned into a ball. The player flips three times, becomes mini, and flips 5 more times.
- 43-50%: The player becomes a mini cube. The player then falls, hits a set of yellow pads, jumps twice, hits two green orbs and holds one dash orb, falls and jumps, hits a red orb, jumps, hits two green orbs and holds one dash orb, turn upside-down, falls twice before jumping and hitting a set of red pads, hits a yellow orb, hits three blue pads and one green orb, falls and jumps, holds a dash orb, and becomes normal gravity.
- 50-59%: The player becomes a 2x speed big cube. The player falls twice, jumps three times, hits a yellow orb, falls and jumps three times, hits a green orb, enters a blue gravity portal, falls and jumps, jumps again, falls and hits two blue orbs and one yellow orb, and jumps over a spike three times.
- 59-66%: The player becomes a 3x speed ship. The player goes through some open gaps. The player becomes a ball at 62%. The player flips three times before hitting a yellow pad and hitting a spider orb that teleports the player up into a swing portal with a gravity portal. The player becomes 0.9 gravity and has to avoid going too high or too low through a very open gap. A short cutscene plays.
- 66-74%: The player becomes 0.5 gravity. The player then jumps, hits a pink pad, hits two yellow orbs that reverse the player, and holds a dash orb. The player becomes mini and dual and does two jumps. If no coin routes are taken, the level ends at 74%.
User coins
[edit | edit source]getHappier contains two user coins.
- The first coin is located at 84%. To collect it, the player must go up at 60% to collect a file and hit a spider orb. After a glitch effect, the player is transported to a short hidden section known as the 'Volatile Chamber', and must make 10 crossings to trigger the coin to float into the center of the room. Collecting the coin returns the player to the main route.
- The Volatile Chamber contains four passages (two on each horizontal side of the screen) blocked by individual gates, and two columns of blocks floating in opposite directions in the center of the room. The columns are on opposite sides of the coin's spawn point.
- On each crossing, the gravity, direction (forward or reverse), and opened gates are chosen at random.
- The background colour will turn yellow if the player's gravity is flipped upside-down; otherwise, it turns blue.
- Exactly one gate on each side of the room will be open on each crossing. The only exception is the eleventh crossing, in which the player will be able to exit a passage but not enter one on the opposite side. This forces the player to either collect the coin or crash.
- The second coin is located at 93% (67% if the first coin was not collected). To collect it, the player must jump over two spikes at the bottom of the cutscene. Hitting the spikes will not result in a fail.
