iSpyWithMyLittleEye (commonly shortened to iSpy) is a 2.1 Easy Demon level by Voxicat, published on 7 April 2023. It is one of the most critically acclaimed levels from the late 2.1 era of Geometry Dash, praised for its unique effects, transitions, and design.[1] It is the fourth level of the Cursed Gauntlet.

iSpyWithMyLittleEye gained huge popularity on social media, with gameplay videos on YouTube and TikTok amassing tens of millions of views.

Description

[edit | edit source]

iSpyWithMyLittleEye begins with a mini-cube section, initially made up of steep slopes the player is launched off of and has to jump onto to get over the spikes, then a faster section of more standard cube gameplay on slopes the player is intended to use the non-sloped sides of. Then, the player transitions into an upside-down mini-ship section with the obstacles being eyes that open and close, with the words "I SEE YOU" in the background.

The first drop sends the player into a ball section with the eye twitching and staring at them from the background, with relatively standard gameplay, before another part where the gameplay more resembles that of the UFO game-mode, despite still being a ball, as a yellow orb is locked to the player's position during this section. After this section, there is a spider part where the level alternates between visible and invisible to the rhythm of the song, as if the game itself is blinking, followed by another mini-spider part with more standard, non-blinking gameplay.

Next is an intermission mini-cube part with gameplay resembling the previous cube part, with the platforms being slopes the player uses the non-sloped side of, and the blinking eyes from the previous ship part also used as decoration in this section.

The second drop is largely made up of a boss fight against the eye in ship form, where the player has to avoid the eye's lasers and charges. Halfway through this section, there are four orbs in a row that the player must hit. A couple of patterns in the second half of the boss fight include the eye shooting lasers both above and below itself, then charging straight forward, where a red or black orb is placed to allow the player to dodge the charge.

After the main boss fight, there is a mini-spider section that becomes dual halfway through, at which point the eye becomes a stationary hazard. After this, a final ship section occurs where you largely have to fly relatively straight and hold the dash orbs before the level ends with a scene of a cube slicing the eye in half, before showing the Voxicat logo sliding in from the bottom, ending the level.
