Kyouki is a 2.1 solo Extreme Demon created, verified and published by Demishio. Kyouki is the hardest fully-solo level beaten legitimately (being completely created and verified by the same player), followed by Verdant Landscape. The level features fast gameplay with near humanly-impossible timings and quick game-mode changes, making the level very difficult to learn. Demishio designed the gameplay with his skillset in mind. Demishio verified Kyouki on November 24, 2022, after a death at 97%. He streamed himself playing the level for 175 days for around three hours each day, taking 501,997 attempts total (258,510 attempts to verify, 243,487 attempts playtesting).

  • This addition to the Demonlist knocked Oblivion out of the Top 10, Spectrum Cyclone into the Extended List and Jamboree into the Legacy List.
    • Coincidentally, Spectrum Cyclone and Jamboree are also two fully-solo levels, just like Kyouki.
• Kyouki (狂気) translates to 'insanity' or 'madness' in Japanese.
• Zoink became the first victor of the level on December 11, 2022, after around 19,800+ attempts.
  • He believes that the level should be Top 3-4 on the Demonlist.
• This is the second hardest featured level, after Acheron.
• At over 500,000 attempts, Demishio's verification of this level is the highest amount of attempts currently spent on a verified project.
  • Only Muffy450 and RaeveZ are known to have spent higher numbers of attempts to beat a level, as the former spent over 634,000 attempts to beat Sonic Wave and the latter over 564,000 attempts to beat Slaughterhouse.
