Motion

Motion is a 2.0 solo Easy Demon level created, verified and published by TamaN. The level primarily focuses on gameplay, like X. It is fast-paced and requires timings and some memorisation to complete the level. TamaN named the level Motion due to the high amounts of moving objects, although some people believe it was because the level is fast-paced.
On 20 September 2023, TamaN updated the level, nerfing a few parts and adding non-auto gameplay into auto parts.
It is the fourth level of the Force Gauntlet, after Uprising and before Metal Magic.
Gameplay
- 0-7%: The level begins with a simple cube section with simple jumps. At the very beginning is text saying either 'new version selected' and '(Turn on LDM for old ver.)' or 'old version selected' and '(Turn off LDM for new ver.)', reminder of the different versions of the level and how to access both. There is also a skull collectable with the text above saying 'Hard Mode' above a structure. Picking up the skull will cause the player to constantly rapidly disappear and reappear throughout the level, thanks to the Hide Player and Show Player triggers.
- 7-12%: The player transforms into a robot, where they have to do small jumps to get over the spikes at double speed.
- 12-17%: The level will become auto for a short time, with the player going up a ramp while being anti-gravity and going through gravity portals to transition to the drop parts of the level. Right before the drop, the words 'lets go!' can be seen before the player transitions into the next part.
- 17-28%: The player enters a fast-paced drop with frequent game mode changes. The player first enters as a triple-speed UFO and must avoid moving blocks, reminiscent of 80% on Deadlocked. Then, the player changes into a ship where they have to avoid three moving pillars before they change back into the cube portal to do a jump to transition to the ball part, which consists of some structures, two moving platforms, and some orbs. Before moving into the next part, the ball goes on some slopes to transition back into the cube portal, and then the player must hit two orbs and jump afterwards into the next part.
- 28-39%: The player transforms into a robot, where they must avoid the obstacles while some structures move onto the screen. The player then goes into a teleportation portal, becomes mini, and into a cube portal once again. Like the previous robot section, the player must avoid obstacles and moving objects.
- 39-53%: This part constantly swaps between double- and triple-speed portals to match the song's tempo. The section has frequent game mode changes. Those being going through a tight wave at double speed, doing a jump as the cube, avoiding obstacles as the mini-UFO while being upside down and under normal gravity, and a brief auto section as the cube before avoiding obstacles reminiscent of 22% on Deadlocked, becoming normal sized then doing another jump as the cube into the ball to do three inputs, jumping and using an orb to get into the upside-down ship portal, which also becomes right-side-up after a few frames, and another brief auto section before avoiding the spikes while going through gravity portals as the UFO.
- 53-58%: The player then transforms into a half-speed cube. In the old version, the player enters an auto section and speeds up to double-speed during the part and triple-speed at the end. In the new version, this section features non-auto gameplay involving several orbs.
- 58-79%: This part, similarly to 39-53%, switches between single- and triple-speed portals to match the song's intensity. The part is mostly in grayscale, with the background sometimes flashing different colours and (depending on the player's colours) the player's colour when they step into a platform. There is a semi-blind jump at 63%, so the player has to be cautious about not dying there. At 68%, the first dual happens, and the player must perform two inputs before going into the second dual, then use an orb to avoid dying and a final jump before going into the third dual. Afterwards, the player must hit three orbs quickly before the other icon jumps and makes the player die. Completing this part leads to the final dual, which only requires one input. The level is auto for a brief moment as the player goes through a double- and normal-speed portal.
- 79-97%: This part constantly swaps into single and triple-speed portals, except for a double-speed portal at the beginning of the part. The player transforms into a robot, where they have to perform a small jump at the beginning and do large jumps for the rest. The player becomes a mini-robot at 81%, which can be buffered to get past the following jump. The player shortly transforms into a cube just to become a wave. It becomes a mini-wave, and the player gets to the final 11%. Before getting into the last ship parts, the player must jump to reach the ship portal. For the following two ship parts, the player must stay in the middle; otherwise, they will die. The final ship part contains invisible slopes, making the part auto.
- 97-100%: The level's end screen is shown here. This section is auto, with invisible pads and gravity portals inside it. The text Motion (with the Os being replaced as decoration sawblades, with the first decoration sawblade being bigger than the second) appears outside the screen. M, T, and the second O will appear from the top of the screen, while the first O, I, and N will appear from the bottom. The texts 'GG!' and 'Tama_N' appear, with 'GG!' being the player's secondary colour, while 'Tama_N' uses the primary colour. Under the text 'Tama_N' is a glowing line using the player's secondary colour.
User coins

- The third and final coin is located at 83%. After getting past the final robot segment of the level, the player can buffer their jump and thus collect the final coin of the level.
