Template:Infobox levelPolargeist is the third level in Geometry Dash. Its difficulty is rated hard, and is the only official level to be so. Polargeist is also a level in Geometry Dash Lite.
Description
Polargeist begins to extend the degree of jumping challenges, also introducing the yellow jump ring. More complex block patterns with combinations of jumping and sliding demand greater concentration. The single ship sequence in the middle of the level features scattered blocks along the passage. One set of triple spikes is encountered right before the end of the level.
Secret coins
- The first secret coin in Polargeist is located on the first ship segment with a black background. Players must watch for a coin on the very top of the playing area. It appears as the scene comes to an end.
- The second secret coin can be found somewhat in the middle of the level. If in pursuit of the second coin, players are forced to drop onto a hidden block placed within a long line of obstacles. Then they must immediately jump, and use a yellow pad en route to the coin.
- For the third coin, players must exit the normal path by accurately timing a jump leading to a blue, gravity pad. This will lead them to a very brief antigravity segment in which they have to use a jump ring and ultimately get the final coin.
Trivia
- The name "Polargeist" is a pun on Poltergeist, or otherwise a ghost.
- This level introduces a trail item that is used in the picture above. It gives you a trail of shadows.
