rori (Rorii in-game) is a South African-American player. He has beaten levels such as Tartarus, The Golden, Zodiac, Crimson Planet, Bloodlust, Lucid Nightmares, kowareta, Deimos, Arctic Lights, Visible Ray, Ragnarok, and Plasma Pulse Finale. This is currently the longest consecutive streak of the hardest Demons on the Demonlist completed without the use of the FPS Bypass, tied with Surv for the third-longest such streak ever.
rori beat Tartarus on 1 April 2020. Due to the date of the completion, many people thought it was an April Fools' joke, but it turned out to be a legitimate completion. Despite four 97% deaths at the final wave segment, it took him 27,749 attempts to finally beat the level. Since there were only four victors at the time, it was considered the lowest attempt count. The attempt count was later beaten by Crisis, who completed the level in little over 22,000 attempts.
rori was once the set verifier for Riot's super buffed Sonic Wave remake, Sonic Wave Infinity, after both Technical and Mycrafted dropped the verification. Due to a lack of progress on the level, he was booted out of the verification, and it was transferred to Xanii, who verified the level on 30 May 2021.
Following this event, rori went completely inactive in-game. He stopped playing majorly difficult levels, as well as uploading on his main channel. Despite this, he remained active in the Geometry Dash community on Twitter. Since June 2023, he has returned to playing the game again.
History
On 9 November 2019, he verified Renevant, the Extreme Demon sequel to Allegiance.[1]
On 13 March 2020, rori achieved 97% on Tartarus, crashing at Salaxium's final wave segment,[2] similar to what Mullsy did. rori would also end up crashing at 97% four times before beating the level.
On May 25 (uploaded on May 30), rori completed The Golden as his second hardest Demon ever beaten.[3] However, he says that he finds The Golden harder than Tartarus.
On August 19, rori achieved a run of 61-100% on the newly finished Sonic Wave Infinity using high FPS bypass.[4] As stated previously, he would go inactive with the level and the game entirely so that he would be booted out of the verification position. The verification would be given to Xanii shortly after.
